Anne's P.O.V.

I was on my way to meet up with Rosie and Vernon, and (of course) I was running late. I arrived to the place named 'Box' fifteen minutes after the said time.

"Where the hell have you been? I'm starving!" -Rosie shouted in the minute I arrived. I haven't even said hi yet.

"Anne, save me please...she has been complaining for i don't know how long about you being late and her not getting food. It's damn annoying!" -Vernon was clearly annoyed.

"You could've just started eating without me, you brats! By the way I relatively arrived on time! But anyways let's order, have you chosen yet?2 - I asked

"It's easy for Rosé, she will ask for the whole menu, right?" - V teased Rosie.

"Shut up Chew!"

"It's Chwe not Chew you idiot, why is it so hard to understand?!"

"Stop with the bickering you two...I might change my mind and go back home if you continue! By the way I'm leaving tomorrow." - I changed the topic quickly.

" Can I go with you?"                                                                                                                                                            " Have you committed crime and now have to leave the country?" - they asked in total synchronization.

" Jesus Christ, no. I'm going to a business trip to Korea."

" That's nice, for how long?"

" Fifteen days. It's a half business trip, half vacation. My father told me that I needed to rest."

"He is damn right Anne, you haven't been douing anything other than working in the last year.     How is he doing?" -Vernon asked carefully, he knew it was a sensitive topic for me.

"Well I would lie if I said that he is doing fine...let's just say I hope when I return I will still have a father to greet." - I said with a sad smile.

Rosé caressed my arms gently, which I was really grateful for. She's been by my side since forever and she really counts as family. They both do Vernon and her.

"Let's order shall we?"-  Vernon broke the silence.

I nodded while going through the menu.

After our food arrived we dug right in not wanting the food to get cold. I ate Ceasar salad with chicken, Vernon ate a bacon-cheese burger while Rosie picked Greek salad and fried chicken. We talked about all of the things that happened in our daily life and we didn't even realize it was already 5 pm.

" Do you have a ride home guys?" - I asked when we got up from the table.

"I will go visit my grandma, she lives 1 street away so I'll walk there."

"What about you Rosie? Will you come with me? I can drop you off." - I said while Vernon was taking care of our bills.

"Yes, thank you! I can stay over for some girltalk too if you want, or help you packing. - She said excitedly.

"Thanks, Rosey. Let's go shall we?"

We bid our goodbyes to Vernon and went to my car. We got in and I started the engine. I felt my friend staring at me, so I decided to break the silence.

"What's up Chipmunk?"

"I'm worried about you." -she said strightforwardly.- " Promise me you will enjoy your vacation and not think of your problems here! - she stared at me with a concerned expression.
