Anne's P.O.V.

"Hello, Rosie is that you?" - I put my phone to my ear as I sat in the cab.

"Anne?!" - she asked slowly.

"Yeah, it's me, look I ne-"

"You woke up?!" - she screamed so I had to pull the phone away. The driver shot me a weird glare but he turned his face away when I looked back at him. Stay out of my fucking business.

"Yeah. Look I nee-"

"Tzuyu didn't tell me." - she sounded a little bit sad.

"Of course she didn't." - I mumbled but she couldn't hear it. - "Look, can you come over to my place? I could use some advices and stuff." - I spoke quickly, not wanting to let my emotions take over me.

"Yeah, sure. I'll be there in a few."

"Great, we will arrive at the same time I guess. Around six pm?"

"I'll be there by then. Bye-bye." - she said and hung up. Thank God. I need her now. I need to figure out what to do.

It's just too fucked up for me. We were fine yesterday. More than fine. She was happy that I woke up and she was scared when she thought I was dead. But what did even happen today? She just turned me down. 'You can't come there.' What even. Cheating? Probably.

It was funny how me, the one who was afraid to hurt her actually got cheated on. Like, what the fuck. I would never think that she was capable of doing something like this. But it was just too obvious. Own apartment where I can't go. Maybe she was afraid of me meeting her lover and beat the shit out of him. Or her. I don't mind. Not that I could throw a normal punch in this state.

It was just so sneaky. So mean. So unlike her. It didn't even cross my mind that she had cheated on me. It wasn't a question. It was always obvious that she was loyal to me, and I appreciated that. I guess I didn't know her at all. Love really sucks for me I guess.

After we arrived and I paid the annoying driver a crazy amount of money, I got into the house. It was...dead. It was obvious that in two months nobody came here. The place where I had been shot was clean now, probably they called someone to clean up all the mess. I heard the door shut behind me.

"Oh my God, how bad I missed you." - Rosie mumbled in my shoulder as she crashed into me, hugging me tightly.

"Me too, Rosie, me too." - I cracked a sad smile, inhaling her scent, which meant my childhood.

"Where is Tzuyu, by the way? I tried to call her but her phone was dead." - she blabbered as she checked me out from head to toe, searching for new injuries.

"She is not here. And she'll never be." - I said as I opened the fridge. Even if I wasn't hungry.

"What do you mean she will never come here? You guys live here." - she followed me to the kitchen like a lost puppy, sitting on the counter.

"We did live here. Not anymore, it seems like." - I said bittersweetly, after all deciding on a glass of water instead of food.

"You bought a new house?" - she asked with furrowed eyebrows. Obviously I shook my head.

"I guess we broke up." - my voice cracked a little bit. Being angry at her and spelling these words are two totally different things.

"YOU WHAT?!" - she jumped off the counter coming up to me, cornering me in the kitchen. - "What did you do, Anne?" - she was angry. At me. Why at me?

"Who told you it was me? It's her. All her." - I said as I pushed her off me, walking to the couch to sit down. - "She cheated." - I added as I flopped down.
