Anne's P.O.V.

Yesterday was a tough day for both of me and Tzuyu. She definitely had bigger problems than me, but if she had problems, that meant that I would have problems too. I spent last night thinking instead of sleeping. I came to decide that this case was so connected to Tzuyu, that I shouldn't keep any information away from her.

Now she was fast asleep in my arms, hopefully far-far away from our problems, in her dreamland. She seemed so peaceful as she lied there, so I didn't want to wake her up. I carefully slid out of her grip and put a pillow in my place as a substitute.

After I took a shower and drank a coffee I decided to start working. I texted Andrew that I will go over his place today after Tzuyu got up. I still had to give him the gun. I wanted to tell Tzuyu the truth, but I didn't think me having the killer weapon wouldn't be suspicious. I needed to get out of this as good as possible.

I have been working for about an hour when I heard the door open. I looked up just to see a sleepy Tzuyu. Her eyes were red from crying, and shadowed by dark circles. She showed a really fallible image. She was human, just like anyone else.

I got up from my chair and walked up to her, letting her fall in my arms. She sought my embrace and love. She melted in my touch, putting her head on my chest.

"You weren't there when I woke up." - she whispered with closed eyes. I snaked my hand around her waist, keeping her close.

"I'm sorry. I had to work and I was just happy that you could sleep." - I mumbled in her hair, caressing it slowly.

"I don't know how I'm going to deal with all of this." - her voice was nearly noticeable, but I heard it anyways. I lifted her chin up, to make her look me in the eyes.

"You know I'm here, right?" - she nodded and pecked my lips.

"Yes. I would probably go crazy if I lost you." - I smiled at her seriousness.

"Come. Let's have breakfast together. After that I have to go to Andrew, but it's only like 10 minutes, so you'll be fine." - I could tell that she was scared to be alone, but I needed to give Andrew the gun, before the police finds it here.

I pulled her after me as I walked down on the stairs. We prepared some sandwiches together. She wanted to do it with me, to take her mind off of her thoughts about Chen. We settled on the sofa, with her between my legs, leaning against my chest.

"Why do you need to go to Andrew?"- she asks while chewing the bread slowly. I knew she would ask.

"I...I need to give him something." - I answer, hoping she wouldn't be interested in details. She frowns a little and turns to me.

"The gun?" - I jolt up from my position, causing her to drop her food. I feel my heart beating hard against my ribs but I try to contain myself.

"How do you know about that?" - I ask silently, not looking her in the eyes.

"I was cleaning in the study and I found it." - she explains calmly, she doesn't seem to be bothered by the fact I have a gun in my house. - "Why are you asking?" - I feel something taking over me as I stand up.

"You went through my stuff." - I say silently but anger is definitely noticeable in my voice.

"I was tidying." - she corrects me as she puts down her plate next to mine. - "Why is it such a big deal anyways?" - I run my fingers through my hair as I try to remain calm.

"Don't touch my stuff. I'm serious." - I'm proud of myself that I wasn't as harsh as I could be. She, on the other hand gets the wrong idea of course.
