Chapter 18

America's POV
we're standing under the hot lights of the report. The country is finally meeting the babies. Then on Monday our allies are coming to see them, the only reason I even agreed to that was because Nicoletta would come. There is a love seat for Maxon and I to sit on, with 5 little cribs next to it with our children in them. Maxon and I sit down on the couch after laying down Hailey and shalom. I know as parents we shouldn't pick favorites, but I think my favorite is Hailey, and Maxon's shalom. We try to spend equal time with all of them, but sometimes you can't help and just put all your love into one.

Maxon squeezes my hand, "you nervous?"

"Yes, and no."

Maxon gives me a confused glance.

"I'm excited for the country to meet the five new people in the world that bring me so much joy...........but I'm also scared that it will encourage rebel's to come, and I'm worried if something will happen to one of them on the report."

"Listen America, we have highly trained guards, who know it's their duty to keep our children safe."

"Thank you Maxon." We kiss, an oh so sweet and precious kiss. Until.....

"And we're live in 3.....2......1" the cameras start rolling, and we're still kissing. That gets an awwww out of the live audience.

"Hello illea! I would hope you all notice that our queen is back with us!" I give a nice wave, "it's very nice to see you back Queen America!"

"Thank you Gavril it's very nice to see you again as well!"

"Now tonight, we will be having a very special report. We will get to the politics and stuff with our lovely King Maxon in about an half hour. But first, I introduce to you the royal quintuplets!" That gets a loud scream out of the crowd.

"Now our adoring king and queen, we have a very important question. What are the babies genders and names?"

Maxon replies, "Well first born was a boy Shalom Schreave."

"That is named after queen America's father am I correct?"

"Correct" America replies, letting one tear slip down her face.

"Then second born was Amberly Schreave."

The crowd Awwws. " that's so sweet naming your daughter after your mother."

"Next was Elaine Schreave, then Sophie Schreave, then Hailey Schreave. Which are all girls."

"Well Well Well, Maxon it looks like you and shalom will be outnumbered," That gets a laugh out of the crowd. And Gavril gives Maxon a pat on the back. "Don't worry I'm sure they won't torment you two too much."

I smile, "I'm not so sure about that, I think shalom has many makeovers in his future." Everyone laughs at that comment.

"Now, I'm pretty sure everyone is wanting to see the babies!"

"Yes Gavril, we would love to show the world our bundles of joy!" I go and pick up Hailey, and Maxon picks up Elaine. Then we walk over to Gavril.

"Well aren't these 2 bundles just adorable!" Then they insert pictures on the screen that we took after they were released from the NICU. You can hear everyone awwww. Then all of a sudden Hailey starts to cry. Honestly I was surprised they lasted this long.

"Excuse me Gavril, let me just go take care of Hailey, and I'll be right back."

"Of course, family always comes first." And I scurry off to change her diaper.

Then a maid comes up to me. "Yes how may I help you?"

"Umm, Your majesty. Mrs. Woodwork went into labor." I hand her Hailey.

"Please, change her diaper, then carry her on stage to her bassinet and let Maxon know where I went. "

She curtseys "yes your majesty." Then I bolt down the hallway to the hospital wing.
