Draco
"MATE!" a voice called in my ear.
I flinched, startled while glaring at Blaise, who was sitting next to me on the Slytherin bench.
Pansy grinned at the two of us from across the table, eating her breakfast.
"What?" I sighed.
"Mate, we've been trying to get your attention for the past five minutes, what's up?" Blaise frowned.
"I just had a late night last night, alright?" I sighed, reaching for my cup of pumpkin juice quickly, to cover the smile that I couldn't get off my face if you ran a muggle school bus into it.
Pansy narrowed her eyes at me and studied me.
Blaise bought it, going back to destroying the eggs on his plate, "Well, you'd better pull it together in the next ten minutes, we've got that assessment in double potions next."
Hermione.
We have double potions together.
My mind raced, I wasn't sure I was ready to face her. I mean, what did she think about last night? Does she think I'm a coward for crying? Oh she probably thinks I'm so weak because I cried in front of her.
Stupid Draco.
My eyes burned and my arms almost seemed to vibrate and I looked up.
Ginny and Hermione were walking in together, Hermione laughing at something Ginny had said, while Ginny looked smug.
Hermione's eyes snapped to mine and it was as if there was a magnet keeping them locked onto each other.
A grin swung across my face and I winked at her.
Her face flushed immediately and she shook her head at me, rolling her eyes before sitting down at the Gryffindor table.
Blaise cleared his throat obnoxiously beside me.
I shot him a look.
He put his hands up in surrender, "Just trying to bring you back to earth, mate."
I rolled my eyes at him and caught Pansy grinning at her plate.
"Idiots," I murmured, but the hint of a smile lingered on my lips, as hard as I tried to push it aside.

Pansy POV
I scanned the dungeons for the red head and slammed down my books down next to her.
She didn't look up from her piece of parchment she was scribbling on, she simply sighed, "Whoever did that has exactly ten seconds to scram before I pull out my wand."
I slid onto the stool next to her and smirked at her, "Did the ten seconds start before or after you started talking?"
Her head snapped up as she turned to face me, a smirk growing on her face, "Well, well, well. Pansy Parkinson. What the hell are you doing in Hermione's seat?"
"I want some information that Draco is not willing to give up," I said, eyeing Draco out of the corner of my eye.
He was giving me a questioning look, gesturing to the stool next to him that I normally sat in. I grinned and shook my head at him, pointing at the stool I was sitting on before turning back to Ginny.
She gave me a curious look, "What type of information?"
"Like what the bloody hell happened between Draco and Granger last night that caused his brain to be floating up in space while the rest of him just sags against the table with a stupid smile on his face," I raised an eyebrow at her expectantly.
She grinned, "Oh they've got it so bad."
"So something did happen last night!" I grinned, I told Blaise.
Ginny ducked her head, murmuring, "Apparently Hermione is Draco's boggart and she had to comfort him and her being the smart girl she is, decided to kiss him to calm him down."
I narrowed my eyes at her, "What do you mean Granger is his boggart?"
"His biggest fear is Hermione dying and he not being able to do anything to stop it," Ginny explained, her eyes almost twinkling.
Hopeless romantic.
"I don't get why this whole kissing thing was such a big deal, I mean, they've kissed before. I get that the whole boggart thing is significant and all but I don't get it."
Ginny froze for a second before recovering, sighing slightly, "Do you know for a fact that they've kissed before? Have you seen them kiss before? Has Draco told you that they've kissed?"
I frowned, "No. No, not that I can remember."
Ginny smirked.
I gasped, "You're telling me that they had their first kiss last night after Draco watched boggart Hermione die?"
Ginny nodded so fast I thought her head was going to fly off.
I whistled, "Bloody hell, that's romantic and dramatic."
"I know. Perfect for the two of them," Ginny grinned.
Someone cleared their throat behind us and we jumped back and looked up to see Hermione standing there, frowning while clutching her books to her chest, "Uh, hey Ginny, Pansy."
"Hey Granger," I said, leaning back against the desk as a backrest.
She raised her eyebrow at me, "Uh, can I have my seat back?"
I frowned at Ginny, then at Granger, "What are you talking about? Your seat's over there."
Her eyes followed my gaze, which led to Draco looking positively bored before grinning, pulling out his wand and casting a spell on Blaise's ears to grow three sizes too big while he was asleep.
"Uh, I'm pretty sure-" she looked over to Ginny, silently asking her to help her out.
Ginny frowned, "Go on, Hermione, go sit by your boyfriend."
Hermione stood there for a minute longer, waiting for one of us to let her sit down or to burst out laughing.
She huffed eventually before sending a glare Ginny's way, "I hate you."
She marched off to sit by Draco.
Draco immediately straightened in his seat when he saw her coming. Ginny snorted.
I turned to her, "I think you and I will make quite the team."
She grinned at me, "Oh those two won't be able to breathe without seeing each other when we're through with them."
