Hermione

Christmas had been a bit different this year. Instead of it being my mum, Dad and I, Draco and Narcissa had been convinced by the three of us that they should stay.

We had a full house and It was wonderful.

Christmas morning was something I'd never forget.

Somehow, Draco and I had convinced our parents that they should trust us and let us sleep together in my room.

I'm about 98% sure it had something to do with all the wine they had throughout the night but I didn't question it.

Christmas morning I woke up in the arms of Draco, which was a present in itself.

He'd already been up, however, and was fondling a red square box between his hands when I had woken up.

He was so focused on it I nearly gave him a heart attack when I kissed him on the lips.

"This was for you, but I really don't think you deserve it anymore," he'd said.

I'd glared at him playfully, grabbing for it as he held it just out of my reach, "Oh come on, Drama queen, I kissed you."

I had finally managed to snatch it out of his hands, after having to crawl on top of him to do so, leaving us in a very awkward position when my Mum had opened the door to wake us up a couple minutes later.

I had pulled open the box and gasped as I saw the necklace, "Draco, it's beautiful."

It was a silver necklace with a small shining G as well as a silver book charm and a silver heart charm.

I jumped on him, kissing him passionately before breaking away, having to bite my lip to keep my smile down to a normal size.

However he tugged me back down and I wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

So, yeah, other than my Mum walking in on us making out Christmas morning, the rest of break went smoothly and cheerfully, as it should be.

I was most disappointed when we had to leave, mostly because it meant Narcissa had to go back to that awful, lonely manor.

While waiting at the station for Draco to say goodbye to his mother, I noticed the exchange of a dark green box which Draco immediately pocketed in his robes.

Before I could ask him about it I was tackled by Ginny.

"'Mione!" She gasped, stumbling to her feet, "Merlin I missed you so much!"

I smiled back at her, "I missed you too, Gin. How were your holidays?"

She gave me a mischievous grin and I immediately regretted asking, "Harry and I broke our record of managing to sneak into each others rooms when everyone was busy."

I held up my hand, "I don't even want to know."

"Suit yourself," she grinned at me, "However I'd like to know how many times you and Malfoy managed to get away."

I gave her a look, but she wasn't budging.

"One," My eyes traveled to Draco, who was embracing his mother, who was trying to scold him for not writing more often, "They learned their lesson after the first time."

She laughed, "Nice."

The train whistle blew, warning us all to get on the train before it left.

Ginny went off to find Harry while I waited for Draco to finish saying goodbye.

He kissed me when he got close enough, "How much do you think I would have to pay Blaise to write letters to my mother while i'm at Hogwarts?"

"Depends," I shrugged, "How often does she want one?"
