•THE WICKED WITCH OF THE EAST LIVES•

Monday, October 4th, 2010 . . . 5:27 A.M.

One month. That's how long Genevieve's been home, and ever since her return she couldn't help but notice that her day to day life's been hectic—crazy even, but most of all it's been scheduled. She'd wake up, go through the motions of whatever her mother had planned for the day, only to do it all over in a similar fashion the next.

At first, she would go along with whatever it was—welcoming the distractions. However, in the moments when Ashley wasn't so controlling, she was able to go through the mental to-do list she had formed in lieu of her return.

She accomplished almost everything. She had successfully sold her house and moved due to the constant reminder that enveloped the former walls where she lived, as well as several other things . . .

Genevieve was content and settling back into her normal day to day Baltimore life. However, there was one thing that differed from what she was used to, and that was her mother—her attitude, her overbearingness, her everything had changed. She hovered more than anything.

Ashley Lasker was someone Genvieve would see more often than not.

There were only a few others. Eleanore was one. The Chief of Surgery at Hopkins was another, but even then Genevieve's only been to the Hospital once to talk with him since she's returned home. Her therapist was another. However, now they came in a pair. PT as well as psychological—per request of Chief Collier, but Genevieve knew her mother had a hand in it.
