Christmas holidays at the burrow was something I had never experienced before. I had stayed over for a week in some summer holidays, but my parents had always wanted Hermione and I home for Christmas. So it was safe to say I was very excited.
"Hi Molly" I greeted, receiving a bone crushing hug from the woman standing on the platform.
"Hello dear, how's your sister doing?"
"She's fine thanks. How's everything going with you and Arthur?"
"Lovely thank you"
She turned around to the mass of children accumulated in front of her, all redheads.
"Come on then let's go!"

"No way" Fred gasped as we walked into the burrow "is that-?"
"Charlie!" Ginny cried, launching herself into her older brother's arms.
"Aha heyyy" he chuckled, placing Ginny back down and working his way around the room, giving his family all hugs.
"Emily?" He said, now looking in my direction. "Yes sir" I winked. Realising this was the first time he'd seen my hair since my first year. He'd been away in Romania for just over 4 years now, only popping back occasionally during the summer holidays - always when I wasn't there.
"You've been infected!" He cried, grasping my shoulders "what did they do to you"
"Third year. Lee thought it was a good idea to dye my hair red and the twins agreed. I couldn't get it out for months so I gave up and it's now my hair colour" I summarised, giving the twins a dirty glance. Charlie chuckled, patting my head.
"Well you sure as hell haven't grown any taller"
"Hey! I've grown!"
"Oh really?" Said Fred, cutting in "please do remind us of how much you've grown-"
"We're very interested - truly!" Added George.
"An inch" I muttered
"What was that?"
"I said I've grown an inch in the last few years okay? It's not my fault I've been cursed with shortness!" I yelled, crossing my arms in defiance.
Charlie snorted, smacking the two twins' heads together.
"Shut up, it's not her fault -"
"Thank you Charlie -"
"That she's a midget"
"CHARLIE!"

Later that evening, once Arthur had gotten home from the ministry ("all absolute bullocks - sorry dear - if you ask me. Lucius all but paid them to vote for the execution of that poor bird") everyone settled down at the table for dinner.
"Tell us about your time with the dragons Charlie!" George asked enthusiastically "how are they?"
"Dangerous I bet" Fred whistled "id love to work with dangerous beasts"
Molly looked pale as ever and like she was about to have a heart attack.
"They're brilliant! A few of the Norwegian Ridgebacks can get extra violent though, you should've seen them during mating season - almost chopped my mate Hallie's arm off!"
Molly let out a squeak of terror, the thought of her child being that close to dangerous animals making her sick. Charlie noticed this and toned his story down a bit.
"Other than that it's mostly just observing - we keep a safe distance away from the dragons - don't worry mum" he reassured, patting his mothers hand.
"The ministry say that they're very dangerous beasts" Percy said pompously "they're rated one of the highest in the world"
"Thanks Percy you're helping a lot" George scowled at his older brother, who was seemingly unaware of how on edge his mother was "but im sure that Charlie is highly qualified and capable".
"Good save" I whispered, patting Percy's arm comfortingly.

If Molly thought that the twins were aggravating before the holidays, she had obviously not seen them when they were trying to annoy Emily. The twins would stop at no length, defied every barrier and frankly Mrs Weasley had had enough. The problem was - it was only the second day of the holidays. She had been woken up as early as 5 am by a large noise originating from Ginny's bedroom.

"Frederick Fabian Weasley I swear on Merlins ass cheeks I will die before I let you get away with this!" I screamed, chasing after Fred down the stairs. I quickly stopped running, spotting Mrs Weasley standing outside of her bedroom.
"Good morning Molly" I smiled, before zooming off after her son.

I followed him outside the house and over by the edge of their garden.
Before Fred could dive into the tall grass I grabbed onto his leg, making him fall to the floor with a grunt.
"This is why they bewitched the girls stairs at hogwarts you bloody buffoon!" I yelled, sitting on his back to prevent him from moving "so that bitches like you couldn't get in!"

He rolled over, covering his face with his hands so he could dodge my blows.
"Hey Hey Hey!" Fred said, winking "I thought the only time we'd be positioned like this would be our wedding night"
"What?" I spluttered, before looking down at our position, my face quickly going bright red. I scrambled off, standing up quickly and running back towards the house, Fred calling after me.
"You alright Emily?" George asked, pouring himself a cup of tea. Too embarrassed to talk to anyone, I sent him a swift nod and ran back upstairs, burying myself under my covers.

"What was that about?" George asked as Fred ran back into the burrow.
"I dunno - I made a joke" he said flustered
"What was the joke?"
"I said that the only time I thought she'd be sat on me like that was on our wedding day?"
"FRED NO WONDER SHE RAN!"
"I'm not that hideous!"
"Well obviously - we're twins and I'm gorgeous. That's besides the point, why would you say that to her?"
"I was joking! We joke all the time!"
"But not about that"
Fred smacked his face in exasperation
"What does that mean?"
"Oh you're such an idiot"
"I am not!"
"She might just get uncomfortable with sexual jokes - Oh! Maybe she's dating someone!"
Fred's face turned to stone at this, making George's smile falter.
"Wait - you don't - actually like her?"
"What!?" Ginny squealed, jumping up and down in the door way
"Merlin's bear Ginny - what did you hear?"
"That you like Emily!" She whisper-screamed.
"No Ginny... let's talk this through" Fred reasoned, taking a step towards his sister.
"This is amazing! I've always seen her as my sister! Oh please do marry her Fred I'd die!"
"What's this?" Percy said rubbing his eyes, placing his glasses on "Where's Emily?"
"Percy! Percy guess what?" Ginny beamed. In a second, both twins had jumped her, trying to stop her from speaking.
"Fred and George get off of your sister!" Molly screamed, running down the last flight of stairs, smacking her two sons with a rolled up daily profit that lay on the side table.
"What's this all about" Arthur said, walking into the kitchen.
"Yeah, what the hell is happening" Charlie grumbled, running his hands through his long hair.
"Oh my god why is everyone here" Fred groaned into George's shoulder.
"Mum! Mum! You'll never believe it -"
"Ginny don't!"
Ginny turned around with a large, evil smile on her face "Oh and why should I be quiet?" Ginny asked.
"We won't prank you anymore!" George offered.
"Not good enough"
"We'll pay you?"
"Nope"
"I don't know why you're threatening us - it's not even true!" Fred cried.
"Isn't it?" George asked his twin
"So you're fighting me now George?! If I tell you it isn't you should believe me!"
"But that's the thing - I don't. I think you do like-"
"Like!? Fred has a girlfriend?" Molly squealed happily.
"No! No mum I don't!"
"But he liiiiiiikes someone" Ginny teased.
"And you didn't tell your own mother?" Molly said, offended.
"I don't - I -" Fred looked very close to ripping his head off now, pacing back and forth on the spot "I - ugh!"
Fred then stormed upstairs, leaving the rest of the Weasley family confused.
"I should probably follow him" George added, following his brothers up the stairs.
