A buzzing sound filled the small library and the shelves filled with books faded away until a dark room remained with a mirror floating in the center remained.
"Ophiuchus! Come! We must speak!"
Ophiuchus blinked suddenly aware of his surroundings and approached the mirror. His reflection morphed into an older version of himself with colder eyes.
"Is there any update on your progress?"
"No father. We still haven't found the twelfth. I'm sorry."
"Keep your apologies. The full moon will be here in two nights. If the ceremony is not performed by then we have to wait another three months before the three moons align themselves again. I suggest you get back to work and ensure that you do not fail me."
Ophiuchus bowed his head in respect and looked at the mirror again.
"I promise upon my life father that I will not fail you."
"You had better not. Fail me this time and I'll cut all ties I have to you."
The glowing mirror disappeared and the library returned to its original state. Ophiuchus glared at a bookshelf across from him and sighed. He only had one more night to look for the missing Zodiac sign if not then plan B would have to work no matter the cost.

Virgo stared at the nine people in front of him and tapped his fingers impatiently.
"If nobody wants to speak up then I can get answers another way." Virgo smirked and pulled on rubber gloves watching as the others flinched away from him.
"Don't you think you're taking this too far? Maybe you did it and you just don't remember. How about we just.......or never mind." Capricorn shrunk back at the glare Virgo gave her and hid behind Pisces for safety.
"Look man nobody did it. You finished your own snacks and you don't feel like spending money to buy more so you felt like blaming us." Pisces shrugged. "Since this is over I'll be leaving now."
Virgo grabbed Pisces's shoulder and pulled him back a little. "Not so fast little fishy. This crime hasn't been solved yet."
Pisces turned a little and held a jagged piece of ice under Virgo's chin. "You wanna call me little fishy again and see where you end up?"
"Maybe it was you that stole from me." Virgo pointed the knife he was holding earlier at Pisces.
Before either could make a move the door opened and Leo walked into the kitchen covered in lipstick.
"What did I tell you?" Aries smirked at Aquarius who rolled his eyes.
"What the hell are you guys doing? I leave for one night and you start fights with each other? I know my guidance is to die for but come on you should at least be able to handle one night without me." Leo walked past everyone and took the last juice pouch from the fridge.
Virgo watched in horror and the last of his juice was drank right in front of him. He growled and moved away from Pisces slowly.
"You bastard! That was my last juice." Virgo sighed and melted into a puddle on the floor.
"Oops." Leo shrugged and threw the empty pouch in the garbage. "If you're all done being babies now I'm gonna go take a nap and I'd hate to be woken up. Beauty like this needs its rest."
Everyone in the room watched as Leo left the kitchen and then turned to the Virgo puddle sobbing on the floor.
"My juice. My precious juice. Tainted by the lips of that vagabond. He'll pay for this. I swear."

"Master I have the daily update for you."
"Go ahead Blade."
"Well the vessel seems to be producing enough mana for your plan to take effect on the night of the full moon. If all goes well then things will proceed smoothly."
"Perfect. It also seems my idiot son has figured out what I want him to do. If the ritual goes as planned then I'll be back on my throne in no time at all."
Blade watched the man in the mirror as he cackled to himself. While he was happy that things were going according to plan there was one thing still bothering him.
"Master, if I'm not overstepping may I ask what you've decided to do with my brother?"
"That fool was to be killed for betraying me but the idiot that we housed here begged me to spare his life. He has one last chance to please me, if he fails me again then I'm done with him."
Blade was a little relieved that his brother wasn't dead but that meant that he would probably be returning to the cottage.
"He won't be returning to where you are. He has a special assignment to carry out for me and it requires careful planning. If he does fail me then I'd like for you to dispose of him for me."
Blade bowed his head, "Yes sir. I understand."
"Good. It's about feeding time now and I'd hate for my mana to get cold."
The mirror disappeared and slowly light began to trickle into the wooden walls of the cottage. Blade made his way to the study room slowly, his mind was heavy with thoughts of his brother. Would he be able to kill Blaze if his master commands him to? Or would he sacrifice both of their lives so he could be with his brother in their afterlife? All he hoped was that he'd be able to see his home once more before he officially died.

Blade moved his mouth from Sagittarius and licked his lips involuntarily. He watched as she fixed her clothes to the way they were before. If he had enough time with her maybe he could've tolerated her personality long enough for them to be friends. Then again who's to say he wouldn't go feral and attack her like Blaze did. However he was grateful for her help in soaring his brother's life so maybe he could give her something as a thank you.
"Hey brat. Take this."
Sagittarius turned to him in time to catch the item he threw at her. She glanced at the item curiously then looked at him. "What's this for?"
"Don't think anything of it. But thanks for saving Blaze or whatever."
"It's not a big deal. I'm sure you would've done the same for me in a similar situation." She smiled at him then looked at what was in her hand. "This is lovely. Where did you get it?"
Blade kept quiet trying to think up an excuse. He couldn't just tell her he was snooping around where she was kidnapped from without ruining the mood so he said the next best thing that came to mind.
"I found it outside in the yard. I know you're not allowed to leave this place so I brought you little piece of outside. This is the only 'nice' thing I'll ever do for you though so don't expect much." Blade walked away with a small flush on his cheeks and his hand in his pockets. Maybe he shouldn't have given it to her after all. She might mistake this as him asking her to be his friend. But that wouldn't really be bad though. It's been years since he's called anyone his friend. Maybe he can start making happy memories again soon.
Sagittarius stared at his back while he walked away and smiled softly at the rose in her hands. Maybe vampires aren't as horrible as they seem.
