Crows POV
My eyes felt as heavy as anvils as I continued to stare at the night sky refusing to let them close. I wanted to get lost in the beauty of the night and to make myself forget my current situation, however the pounding of hooves unwillingly brought me back to reality and to look where the sound was coming from to see three centaurs guarding me.
I heard them talking about how "Two of the prisoners had escaped."
I felt a little somewhat shocked at this, Audine and Alice managed to escape... and left me behind, I shouldn't have been surprised about it, someone needed to take the fall and that someone had turned out to be me, they left me behind you shou-
I was snapped out of my thoughts yet again by a piercing howl followed by rapid barking, the centaurs guarding me ran off following the barking and the sounds of her paw steps to go catch her. The pounding of their hooves becoming fainter and fainter only after a few minutes later I felt someone untying the restraints on my hands, after my hands were freed Audine in her Human form then walked in front of me and began to untie the restraints on my legs, after doing so Audine looked at me her face filled with concern her eyes looking me over for any possible physical wounds.
"Are you okay Crow?"
"Yes, Thank you."
"No problem Crow now let's get the fuck out of here."
As soon as I got to my feet, I began to follow Audine until I stopped in my tracks remembering my bag and right wing, Audine stopped and looked back at me with noticeable confusion on her face.
"Why did you stop?"
"Audine I can't leave without my bag."
Audine seemed more confused before turning to that of understanding, many of the contents in my bag including the bag itself could be replaced but not my Right Wing.
"Alright I'll get the bag back but you need to get the fuck outta here."
I nodded and ran off leaving Audine alone, I hide from the patrols and ran as fast as my legs could take me until I finally managed to get far enough to be considered safe. I fell to the ground feeling my eyes begin to close but this time I didn't resist it and gave into the need for sleep.
Audines POV
HOW HARD IS IT TO FIND ONE FUCKING BAG?!?
I searched and looked through everywhere in each tent and so far I haven't found that stupid bag, It seriously didn't help that the patrols had increased and judging by just that I guess the news of our escape woke everyone up and now were all looking for us.
I hid and looked inside every fucking tent and so far the bag wasn't anywhere until finally after what felt like years did I finally find what I was looking for.
The large and familiar bag was in what I assumed was the leaders tent which would make my goal a little more risky but like my brother used to say You Only Live Once so I decided that the risk would be worth it, I entered the tent and began to look through the bags contents to see if those deer and horse people took anything and much to my relief saw that nothing had been stolen, except for Crows Right Wing which was laid on what I assumed was the leaders bed although it seemed to have herbs rubbed on it, I recognized the scent of one of the herbs as Rosemary, one of the main herbs used to prepare the body for burial.
The Horse and Deer people must've thought that the fairy (AKA Crow) the wing came from was dead, I took the wing and carefully put it into the bag, slung it over my back and turned to leave only to come face to face with the Leader of the Horse and Deer people holding a spear and looking at me a little confused for a moment before pointing it right at me.
I jumped over to a different part of the tent and broke the large stick holding the tent up making the fabric fall over us giving me the chance to escape and run off, with the sound of multiple hooves pounding running after me, just as I thought that my legs were about the give out from under me, the sounds of hooves stopped but I kept running not wanting to take any chances, until I slowed down and saw Crow on the ground passed out.
She must've been more tired than I thought, I then picked up Crow carefully Bridal style as I did this I picked up Alice's scent and began to follow it content that all of us were safe.
Alice's POV
I hope Crow and Audine get here soon.
I stared at the fire I had started earlier while I waited for them to come back, I tried to get as comfortable as I could get on the ground, I stared at the fire eventually felt sleep slowly taking me I saw Audine walking towards me carrying Crow bridal style, setting Crow on the ground noting that Audine seemed to give Crows sleeping form a loving look before cuddling up to her and falling asleep. Sometimes I wonder if they think of each other more than friends, I then began to drift off letting myself fall to into the dark depths of sleep.
[I'm sorry if this chapter was absolute shit please forgive me I promise that they will get better.]
