(I'm sorry for the lack of updates I had writer's block)
????'s POV
I was running in the forest the chill air nipping at my pelt, and the snow crunching under my paws as I ran in the early morning light, even though I should be hunting for prey but I'm on my own now so I'll do whatever the fuck I want, although I am starting to see my ribs so now is as good as time as ever to go hunting, which ended with me running straight into the trunk of a goddamn fucking tree. I watched in anger as that fucking rabbit running away.
"Stupid pathetic excuse of fur"
I was busy cursing myself for losing the stupid rabbit when I smelled it, It was a scent of some kind but it was strange it smelled of freshly bloomed roses in the summer, but at the same time smelled disgusting, bitter, and...Salty?
This was confusing me, so out of curiosity I followed the strange scent to its source and what I found shocked me to my very core; it looked like a human at first, but I remembered that human ears weren't pointy nor did they have any wings or wing in this strange girls case, she had a left wing but was clutching the right one, mud covered her head to toe, there was dried blood on her back.
I growled at the fact that humans may have been behind this, but was taken back to reality when I saw a large gash on its right leg, it was also bent at a strange angle, they may have sprained it, not to mention she was also covered in snow, I would have thought this strange female creature to be dead if I didn't hear her breathing, shallow and short, she wouldn't survive out her on her own for much longer if I left her alone.
That was when I made the decision to take this girl with me, I began to shift to a form similar to a human if it hadn't been for the ears and tail that still remained with me, I picked up the strange girl and ran as fast as I could with two feet back to the cave that I had been living in, once I got home, I set down the strange girl in my bedding and covered her with various fabrics that I had stolen from the nearby human village, and when I felt that the strange girl would be warm with the fabrics I provided her, I shifted back into my wolf form and left to go hunting, but this time I took my hunting seriously and was more careful with my movements for this time someone needed my help.
Clarabell's POV
I felt my eyes open, I must've passed out, most likely from lack of food, but something felt off, as I became more aware of my surroundings, was that something warm was covering me, I slowly sat up to see that I was in a large cave, I then smelled something cooking, I turned my head towards the source of the smell, to see a pig on a stick cooking over a fire, but when I saw the one tending to it, fear gripped its icy hold on me, it looked like a human at first glance, I didn't care to look over at the "human" again, I then jumped to my feet and tried running away, but then pain struck my left foot and fell down on the hard ground of the cave, I then felt something pick me up and hold me, I then began to struggle and squirm trying something anything to get away but then I heard it.......whispering I didn't know who was whispering to me but for some reason, it felt relaxing.
The "Human" holding me noticed that I was no longer trying to get away, although now I felt myself shaking uncontrollably, the "human" holding me then set me down carefully on the fabrics that had covered me, I heard the "humans" footsteps walk away from me, I turned my head to look at the "human" to see that it wasn't a human but something else, It looked female, she had wolf ears and a tail, along with wolf-like feet and claws, her hair was a dirty blonde and wore brown fabric around her upper torso and around her hips.
I watched as she took the pig off the fire and haul it to the other side of the cave and tore into it ripping out chunks of meat out like a wild animal, I felt scared of her animalistic behavior, but the fear went away when she took two chunks of the pig, walked towards me, and gave a chunk of the cooked pork, not wanting to waste the opportunity for food I took it from her, turned my back on her, and ate it as fast as I could and the entire time I was eating the chunk of meat I could feel the girl behind me, staring at me but I had to wonder... Why was she helping me?
????'s POV
I watched as the strange girl in front of me, turn her back on me as she ate the flesh of the pig like she hadn't eaten in days, then again due to how skinny she is that could be very true: she devoured the chunk of pig as my old packmates did when they ate, I immediately shoved the memories to the very back of my mind, they didn't need me so I don't need them.
I noticed that the raven-haired girl was looking at me, curiosity in her dull gray eyes, when she realized that I had noticed her, she immediately turned her back on me once more, giving me a good view of her left wing it looked ragged and torn at the end but was minimum.
Narrator POV
There was a heavy silence between the two, none of the two daring to say anything, Clarabell had turned around to look at the strange woman, both girls locking eyes with each other each of them curious about the other the silence was thick in the air until the blonde woman then decided to break the silence by asking Clarabell a question.
"So what's your name?"
Clarabell's POV
I was taken out of my thoughts by the blonde wolf girls question. I didn't hear her question so I asked her to repeat her question and she replied with.
"I asked what your name was."
"My Name is C-."
I stopped myself and went into thought this was my chance, to try again to start over, to leave everything I knew behind, I was taken back to the present by the snapping of fingers, the girls Ember eyes showed concern, I then gave her my full answer.
"Crow........ My name is Crow."
The strange girl then gave me a kind smile and told me her name.
"Nice to meet you, Crow, my names Runt"
I was taken aback by the blonde girl's answer I was also confused, who in their right mind would name their own child runt?
I asked her why she was called runt and she responded with,
"Well, it's what everyone else calls me."
I frowned at her response even if it really was her name there was no way in the nine layers of hell I would ever call her that, A light then went off in her head.
"What about Audine?"
The Blonde girl then gave her a look of confusion and tilted her head to the left and asked what I meant by what about Audine.
"Well I'm not like everyone else, and Audine suits you much better than Runt"
???? POV
I was a little shocked when Crow asked me if I would like to be called Audine, I thought it over in my head... She was right Audine did sound much better than Runt. I gave Crow my answer.
"Hmm Audine, has a nice ring to it....... let me tell you my name again. My Names Audine its nice to meet you, Crow"
(Sorry if this chapter was a little crappy but sue me This isn't my typical writing style but I promise it will get better)
