Deun slowly opens the door and pokes her head through. "Are you staying late again Doc? It's already 7 pm."
"Mhmm." I replied. "I'm almost done." I reassured. "I'll be out shortly."
It was about 8:30 pm when I left the building. Most lights were already turned off and the loudest noise was the sound of my heels tapping the ground as I walked as fast as I could to the elevator. I clicked B1 as I was so ready to just go home.
I stared and watched the elevator floor counter go down. B1 finally was reached and as I was grabbing my phone, my keys flew out of my bag and out door onto the garage floor.

Puzzled, I walked out of the elevator and picked up my keys. As I was doing so, all the lights dimmed down one by one.

At this point, scary images run through my head. All of a sudden, I'm thinking that a serial killer is just going to pop out of no where and kidnap me.
I stood up slowly and my eyes flew side by side to make sure no one was near. I held my breath as this moment was too quiet, breathing didn't even seemed to be allowed.
All of a sudden, the sound of a car turns on and is flashing its headlights at a group of people.
