Mt. Fuji

A loud noise was circulating through my head. It sounded like a machine was set right next to my ear.

I was dozing in and out of my sleep. My eyes wouldn't open no matter how hard I tried. I was definitely drugged somehow. After awhile I was able to slowly open my eyes. Here I knew that I was in trouble because 1. I was up in the air 2. It was cold as fuck.

Turns out I was in a helicopter and by now I was able to realize that we were headed to Japan. I remembered one of the white dragon members saying our destination back at the gas station.

I'm here and I'll probably die here at this rate. I look in the corner of my eye and Kai is still unconscious. I'm sure he's already well aware of our fate.

Moments later, I felt something slightly tug my leg. I moved my eyes and saw Kai's piercing stare. At that moment, I knew he had a plan.

There were two dragon men with us in the back of the helicopter. Kai stared at me and then looked at the slim man next to me. He nodded his head and blinked once. Then he blinked twice really fast. I knew he was counting to three using blinks. Finally, he blinked three times really fast and sprung up out of his position towards the heavier set man.

He pushed the dragon member off the helicopter and at that moment I also charged towards the slim dragon member. I was a lot weaker so he grabbed, shoved and positioned me towards the door. I held on to him as he struggled to push me out the door. Kai pulls the man back and the man released his grip on me. Kai pushes this man towards the door and kicked him off.

He began buckling himself with gear. He grabbed another set and began buckling me. My faced flushed red even in the midst of the cold air. I felt his breath on my forehead as he wrapped his arms around me to secure the harness. He then buckled me to him and we were basically attached. We slid towards the door only one feet away from the edge.

"You might want to hold tight onto me." He smirked.
"Huh?!" I gasped.

Just then, he leaned out the door and the next thing I knew, we were in the air. I wrapped my arms around him as fast and tight as I could instinctively. I shut my eyes tight and I felt his arm embrace me.

He pulled the parachute and we were slowly landing.

We had a pretty rough landing as I touched the ground first and didn't have enough energy to keep my balance. My legs gave out so we fell and we're rolling down the snow mountain at a fast rate. Kai was able to stable himself and we finally still.

Kai was laying on his back and I was on top of him since we were still attached. Our face was close and it took me a second to realize his close he was. I panicked and tried to get up but I was still attached to him so I s slipped on snow and fell right back on him. He grunted and set his hands on my hips. "Don't move," he demanded. He unbuckled me and I filled over next to him. We were both exhausted.

He left out a huge sigh and smiles

He left out a huge sigh and smiles. "We're safe now." He comforted. "My team will be here for us soon."

Even though temperatures were low, I was sweating. He got up and held his hand out to me. I grabbed it and got up. I set my hands in my gear pocket and there were gloves! I put them on and observed our surroundings. "Where are we?" I remarked.

Our breaths were visible with the cold air

Our breaths were visible with the cold air. "Mt. Fuji." He noted.

"Oh boy. We might die and become cold meat." I joked. "How soon will your men be here?" I questioned.

"Soon but not soon enough." Kai remarked. Come, we have to go find shelter." He said while sticking his hand out.

"Don't you have a pair of gloves in your pocket?" I asked. He dug into his hands in his pocket and pulled them inside out. "No," he chuckled. I fixed my gaze on him as that was the first time I've seen him genuinely smile." I returned a warm smile to him.

"Here," as I gave him my left glove. "At least we'll both only loose one hand to the frost bite."

He took the glove and we began walking. "Do you even know where we're going?" I asked.

"Trust me," he said, as he grabbed my bare left hand with his right hand and shoved it into his pocket to keep it warm.
