Eva's hands started to shake, she pushed her power too far. Taking deep breaths she pushed herself to stand up again. She was going to get Klaus back, Hazel and Cha Cha were going to regret taking him. Her friend. Five's brother.

She dragged her feet as she walked down the hallway, picking up the dropped katana.

"Eva?!" She heard concerned yells echoing from different parts of the building. She rounded a corner, spotting Diego. Diego glanced in her direction before letting out a relieved sigh, he strutted up to her before hugging her "Awe, batsy does have feelings." She muffled out a tease earning a chuckle from the vigilante. "Why did you go after them?" He suddenly snapped, Eva knew it was because he was concerned so didn't feel intimidated. "Like I said before kid I have years of experience, if I didn't try and go after them they would have gotten away. I mean... they did anyway." She balled her hand into a fist, trying to subside her few moments of anger "They got Klaus." She muttered through her gritted teeth, feeling guilt rise in her.

Diego let go of Eva and punched the wall quickly before composing himself. "We'll get him back." He growled.

"Damn right we will."

Eva sluggishly hopped out of Diego's car as he gave her a lift to Five's van. "Thanks bro." She tensed slightly as she realised she technically called him 'brother'. Diego let a small smile crack on his face "No problem sis." He drove away.

Eva smiled and shook off her awkwardness. Jogging up to the van she could see it was empty, she slid the back door open and glanced in. Nothing. Only Dolores. "Hey Dolores. You know where Five went?" She asked before getting in and hopping into the drivers seat. "Yeah, he doesn't tell me shit either." She laughed. Watching the prosthetic pharmacy she kicked her feet up, stretching out her exhausted muscles.

Two figures were headed into the building, two masked figures. Eva tensed up "Jeez, do these guys ever quit? I need a vacation." She sighed climbing out the van, katana in hand. She ran into the building, it was eerily quite. Dead bodies littered the floor, Eva tutted at the unnecessary deaths.

Then it hit her. The smell. The suffocating air. Smoke.

Fire had quickly spread across the pharmacy causing Eva to curse. She spun on her heel and started to make a run for it before pipes start to explode. Running out the front doors she saw Five sprint to the front, shock spread across his face. "Move!" Eva yelled out to him as she sprinted at him, when he didn't move she tackled him to the floor right as the building exploded. She through a shield up, but it was useless. Her lack of energy allowed small rubble like glass to pierce through.

When everything calmed down she pushed herself up off of Five slightly, straddling him she glanced down and laughed slightly. "What brings you here?" He let out a small snicker before reality smacks him in the face. He sits up, gently pushing Eva to the side so he can look at the pharmacy.

"It's gone." He breathed out.

Eva put a hand on his shoulder, in comfort.

"Our one lead, and its just... gone.... How?" He looked at Eva, confused on how it got destroyed.

"The commission. Hazel and Cha Cha." She growled out, furrowing her eyebrows.

He dragged himself up before offering a hand to Eva. She took it and pulled herself up. "This is it. We tried." Five sighed in defeat before walking off. Eva watched after him. "Where are you going?"

"We are going to have a drink." He called back, wanting to forget everything.

"Take it easy with the drink." Eva groaned as they sat at the top of the old library they used to live in. Shaking his head, Five took another gulp of the drink he had clutched in his hand. Dolores was placed infront of the two, looking disappointed. "The apocalypse is coming E, my drinking habits wont matter soon." He argued, letting his head collapse onto Eva's shoulder. She ran her hand through his hair soothingly "We can't give up, there must be something." She hummed, twirling his hair around her finger. "There isn't anything E. This is it." He cried out in defeat.

"Don't give up." She smacked the back of his head causing him to jump. He gave in and nodded his head "If I agree, will you let me sleep?" He mumbled and moved down to lay his head on Eva's lap. "Yeah." She sighed, he looked most at peace when he was asleep. She kept running her hand through his hair. Her hands started to shake again, so she stopped. Trying to hide it.

Time passed and the bottle of alcohol laying next to them got unwanted attention from people around them. Eva groaned, hating people. "Where are the parents?" One annoying voice pierced through them all.

.As the lady walked away, Diego and Luther rounded the corner, this made Eva raise a brow. "Small world huh?" She spoke wondering why they were there. "We were trying to find you two." Diego answered. Luther walked forward and scooped Five off of Eva, letting her stand up and stretch her legs.

"Come on, we'll take him to my place." Diego started to lead the way out of the library.

As they began to walk outside a familiar car caught Eva's eye. It was parked outside the donut shop. "Hey guys, I'll meet you there." She trailed off, heading towards the car. "Hey! Where are you going?" They called after her.

"I've got some unfinished business."
