Diego kicked the door open leading to his place at the back of the boxing club. His arms occupied, carrying the little girl. Scraps of cloth were used to try and battle the blood seeping out of her. He jogged down the few steps muttering out swears.

Both Luther and Five turned to Diego as he made his loud sudden appearance "Hey, assholes. Can you lend a hand or are you too busy being self centred?" Diego snapped at Luther, worry hiding behind his harsh tone. Five's eyebrows raised as he jumped up to look at the body Diego was clutching to. "E-eva?" He choked out, stealing her away from Diego before laying her on the bed.

His fingers pressed own on the point underneath her jaw, feeling a slight pulse. His hands started to shake as panic rushed through his body. Eva never got hurt, she always made sure to use her ability. Diego saw his pause and pushed him out the way before bringing his ear to her head, checking if she was breathing. "Grab the first aid kit." Diego hissed out. "We need to stop it from bleeding so we can get her back to the academy, maybe Pogo can do the rest." Luther jumped in, taking the lead from Diego. Five grabbed the box and it visibly shook in his hand. Trying to open it the contents flew everywhere. Diego grabbed what was needed before starting to work on Eva. Luther put a hand on Five's shoulder "Maybe you should get the car ready." He suggested, wanting Five to leave as he was getting visibly distraught.

Five shook his head, trying to stop his straight face from cracking. Tears welled up in his eyes, only to be scraped away by his hands. He didn't let them fall. "No." He argued staying put, his eyes glued to Eva. Luther stepped infront, shielding Five's vision "Let me rephrase, go get a car ready Five. As soon as Diego's done wrapping her up we need to leave." Five glared at Luther and oh boy if looks could kill.

He stomped his way out, grabbing Diego's keys on the way. He drove the car round to the front and sat in silence, left with nothing but his thoughts. Tears fell reluctantly from his eyes. He didn't like it, the vulnerable feeling that sat on his chest. The horrid thought that he could lose her, the one person that has stuck with his stubborn angsty ass all those years. The one person who he loved... more than Dolores. He took in a sharp sniff before letting out a long sigh. "Ugh, hormones." He blamed his young body for being weak, trying to stop his tear ducts from leaking.

Seeing Diego and Luther run out with a unconscious, possibly dead, Eva made his heart sink. Diego flung the back door open before taking Eva out of Luthers hands and carefully getting in the back seat. "Luther get your big monkey ass in the car!" Diego yelled as Luther struggled to get in the passengers side. As soon as he was in Five took off, not waiting for him to shut the door.

"How?" Five hushed out, feeling emotionally drained. His hands gripped the steering wheel as he sped down the road. "The assassins, Hazel and Cha Cha, they attacked the academy. Took Klaus. W-when I got there, she was bleeding on the floor." Diego struggled, as his stutter came back briefly, to get out without showing a little bit of emotion. "Eudora... she said that Eva protected her." He mumbled out, his chin twitching against his will.

Five looked in the rear view mirror and let a soft smile out before shaking his head "Eva always tried to stop others from getting harmed."

"That's what I love about her."

Eva sat up, a sharp inhale scared her

Eva sat up, a sharp inhale scared her. She looked around but all she could see was vibrant green grass. Wildflowers scattered all over the place. The pain in her chest was gone, but she was lost.

She stood up and looked around, there was nothing else.

"Eva?"

She spun around to where the voice called out. Sat there, sticking out like a sore thumb, was a mirror. Sticking one foot out infront of the other, she approached it. Watching her reflection she brought her hand up and watched as her reflection did the same.

"Eva." The reflection called out, making the girl jump.

"D-did you jus-" she muttered out, only to be cut off by the reflections laugh. "Yes, I did."

"I am you and you are me. But we are not the same" the reflection spoke. This made Eva scrunch her face, confusion filled her head. "How are we not the same?"

"I'm the better version of you."

"My power is greater."

The reflection continued to brag, Eva looked closer at the reflection. She saw the reflections veins carry spikes of what looked like blue electricity.

"Where am I?" Eva asked, her eyes lingering on the electrical pulse.

"You're nowhere and everywhere."

"What?"

"I forgot how stupid I could be. Eva, you're on the brink of death."

The air in her lungs quickly escaped as she received the blunt news. She can't die. She wouldn't allow it.

She couldn't leave him. Not after everything they've been through together.

"I can't die." She snapped at... herself?

She kept shaking her head screaming no. "I won't allow it!" She argued.

"Thats not something you can really decide. It's what the living have to deal with."

The three rushed in and called out for Pogo, laying her gently down on a surgical table. Pogo waddled in and was taken back by what he saw. He made it to the side of the table and checked on Eva's state. "Grace is unavailable for this procedure, but I can guide you through it and get her on IVs."

Five clung onto her hand and ignored everything going on around them. He took her hand and brought it up to his lips before giving it a small peck. "C'mon E. You can't leave me."

"Please?"
