Hey! So first off I want to say thanks to the people who have messaged and commented me ideas and giving me words of encouragement! It means so much, really it does! :) Alright now I want to say sorry for the later update in the day. Usually I'd post about three hours ago when I got out of school, BUT, I didn't end up going to school today and I got my hands on a trilogy this morning and couldn't put down the first book. I've become addicted and then I looked at the clock and realized how much of my rainy day I wasted so I decided to write a quick and short chapter. Yes, this is short. BUT, it is a part one, yeah I know, another divided chapter, but that means there will be a Morgan's P.O.V. in the second part! Which I kind of enjoy writing! :) Anywho, please don't forget to COMMENT, VOTE and FAN:) Thanks so much, and enjoy :)

P.S. Upload will be later tonight or tomorrow!

My classes went by pretty quickly today and overall it was a pretty boring day. You know the days where it’s raining and all you want to do is lounge around in your sweats? Yeah, that was today. Except I couldn’t do that because I had to face reality, unfortunately, and to think how I oh so wished to turn eighteen.

I walked out to the baseball field and saw Morgan watching the boys scrimmage. He smiled when he saw me.

“Hey, Ms. Johnson,” he said since there was a baseball player behind him.

“Hey Professor Denson.” I smirked. I kind of liked this whole student teacher role.

We stood there for a minute until the guy ran out to the field.

He smiled and turned to me. “So, what are you doing this afternoon?”

“I’m going to hang out with Chalice and Darren, I think.”

“What about around six, what are you doing then?” I looked at my phone and saw it was only two in the afternoon.

“I should be free then, why?”

“I’m taking you to meet the parents,” he said smirking at me as my eyes bulged.

The parents! Seriously? That was pretty major, plus they thought he was still with Lauren.

“Are you okay with that, Addie?”

“Yeah, just, uh, what about your parents? I mean you are technically married.”

He stood there for a moment and nodded.

“Well, I’m going to go over there first and tell them everything, I’m sure they won’t have a problem with it.”

“Oh, okay, then. Then sure, I’ll go to dinner with you and your parents,” I smiled. I was going to meet the parents of the man I was falling in love with.

“Alright, now go! Can’t have my players getting distracted seeing a fine ass like yours out on the field, so go, I’ll be at your house later, babe,” I rolled my eyes and started walking back towards my car.

I got in and drove to Darren’s house. He and Chalice were sitting on his porch talking.

“Hey, guys,” I said sitting on the chair next to Chalice.

“Oh, hey, Adds,” Darren said.

“Was I interrupting some relationship time?” I teased.

“Nope. Now, tell us, Ian said y’all broke up!”

“Yeah, we just realized we weren’t right for each other,” I said casually playing with my hair.

“I don’t believe you! You two were only dating for like three days! You have to get to know one another.”

“I don’t know why you don’t believe me Chalice. But we just decided to remain friends.”

“Okay, okay. I’m going to go and get a drink, want one?” Chalice asked as she got up and walked in the door. I shook my head and waited for her to close it.

“Addie, we need to talk.”

“You never call me Addie, Darren.”

“Ian told me the truth.” Oh shit.

“He did?”

“Yes, now who is the guy?” I can’t tell Darren, not after our past. The real reason why we broke up even though we told everyone it’s just because we wanted to part.

“I can’t say.”

“Is it? You know?” Darren looked mad and upset, I hated seeing him like that.

“No, Darren, not him. And be quiet, please, Chalice doesn’t know about that and I really don’t want anyone to know.” If Chalice or anyone else found out, it could potentially cause a lot of problems. Not that I thought Chalice would go and run her mouth, I mean Chalice sure was loud and loved to talk, but she could keep a secret. I just would be terribly embarrassed if someone else found out.

“Okay, I can take a hint. So, I know we haven’t talked about that since we became friends again, but have you, you know seen or talked to him?”

“No, and I can’t and won’t and don’t want to.”

“Alright. I’ll drop it,” Darren said leaning his head back in his chair.

I loved Darren, I really did, it’s just he had a habit of bringing past stuff to surface. Stuff that hurt me and him and I didn’t want him to talk about it.

“Drop what?” Chalice asked as she came back outside with a Coke in her hand.

“Nothing. So how have you two love bird been?”

“Great,” she said as she went over and sat on his lap and kissed him.

I’m surprised how well they got along together considering their friendship has been pretty much love-hate for the past ten years.

“Y’all are just too cute,” Chalice giggled and I rolled my eyes.

“Come on, it’s starting to rain harder. Let’s get inside.” Darren said propping Chalice up off of him. We went to his room and lied down on his bed and he turned on a movie.

Half way through I started feeling like a third wheel which I’m assuming is how Chalice once felt.

I got a text from Morgan saying that he was going to go and talk to his parents now about him and Lauren divorcing. I don’t know why, but now I felt super nervous and bad. I mean what if his parents don’t like me? What if they liked Lauren more? What if they tell him he can’t bring me over? Ugh, so many thoughts started going through my head.

“Hey, guys, I’ve got to go somewhere, I’ll see you two at school tomorrow.”

“Okay, bye,” Chalice and Darren said in unison. Aw, that was kind of cute in a couple kind of way.

I drove back over to my house and saw Morgan pull into his parent’s driveway as I walked in the house. Hmm, it’s kind of funny, I’ve never seen Nick, Morgan, Olivia or either of his parents in the entire eighteen years I’ve lived on the same block as them.

Wish me luck- Morgan

I read the text and replied with a good luck and went inside and started doing my homework assignment to pass an hour until he came over to get me.
