Exams were over. Nick had a fiancé. Chalice and Darren had been apartment shopping. We had already had a going away party for me with all my friends. I was packed. And I was about to go out with Morgan. I could do this and be just fine, right? Well, I sure hope so. I took a deep breath and walked into his classroom. Nobody was in there besides us.

“Are you ready?” he said looking down at his phone for the time. I nodded. We hadn’t really spoken since Saturday and it was now Thursday. Well, he called me on the phone once but that was it. I didn’t know what we were doing or anything.

It was only ten in the morning but he said he wanted me all day since I was leaving tomorrow night. I just hope this wasn’t going to be a disaster.

“Okay, let’s go then,” he said as he opened the door and we walked out. Luckily, almost nobody was at the school so we didn’t have to worry about the whole “why are you guys getting in the same car?” question from students or teachers. Which actually didn’t apply to me anymore, since I wasn’t his student now.

We got into his car and he drove off. “So what are we doing today?”

He chuckled. “So, she speaks.” It made me grin. Dang, I hadn’t said a word actually.

“Ha-ha. Seriously, though. Do I get to know first?”

“Nope. But we’re going to do a few things. Just so you know how much you’ll miss me.” Crazy thing is though even if we weren’t going to hangout today I still know I would miss him like crazy once I left.

“You don’t have to worry about me missing you because I will.”

He didn’t say anything, just nodded and kept his grin on. I really hope he wasn’t going to try anything crazy like propose again or kiss me just because I wouldn’t be able to handle that, and I don’t think he would be able to either.

We stopped for gas and were about to leave again until he grabbed something out of his jacket pocket.

“Here, turn around. I’m going to blindfold you.” Oh, no!

“What? Absolutely not.”

“Hush, Addie. It’s just because we’re almost there and I want it to be a surprise. Oh, and thanks for listening and dressing warm,” he said. I bit my lip and turned my head so he could put the blind fold on me. He started the car again and started driving.

“Just so you know this is pretty awkward. And you know someone may call the cops on you since they can see through your windows. Seeing a girl blindfolded in a car with a man, they may think you’re holding me hostage or some shit like that.” I could tell he smiled at that even without seeing his face.

“Or they’ll just think we’re into kinky shit.” I smirked and rolled my eyes even though he couldn’t tell. He drove for about five more minutes until he spoke again.

“Alright, we’re here. I’m going to come get you, okay? No peaking!”

“I won’t. I promise.”

He came over and opened the door for me and ushered me inside a building that was absolutely freezing cold.

“Can you take this off yet?” I asked after we stopped walking.
