1x02 — Run Boy Run
PART II
—
"Alli?" Jewel called out once she climbed her way into the attic.
After dropping off Diego at the gym and driving around town, Jewel made it back home. She was greeted by Pogo who informed her about Allison and Vanya's little quarrel and hoped that she could talk to one of them.
She remembered seeing Allison's car parked beside the house and decided to go talk to her since she was already here. The first place she went to was her sister's bedroom. Seeing that she wasn't there, Jewel recalled a place where Allison used to hide whenever she was upset as a child.
She spotted Allison sitting on the window sill with a cigarette in between her two fingers. "Alli?" She repeated.
Allison's head snapped towards her sister and pressed the cigarette butt onto the flat surface of the window sill. "I didn't know you smoke." Jewel said. "Yeah, well, not for too long. I only do it when I'm under a lot of stress. It helps relieve it." She explained with a shrug.
"How did you, uh, how did you know I was up here?" Allison asked. Jewel gave her an "are-you-kidding" type of look. "I've known you since we were in diapers. Of course I know where you go whenever you were upset." She told her.

"This is Vanya we're talking about. Our sister. I'm sure she knows you didn't mean it." Jewel assured. "Doubt it. She doesn't know anything about me, which is fine 'cause I don't know shit about her either." She explained.
"It's just it's been a while since we've all lived under the same roof." She then added. "It has been thirteen years." Jewel said.
"How do you do it?" Allison asked randomly. "How do I do what?" Jewel asked.
"How do you remain so calm and act like nothing...feels weird. I mean, there's Klaus, but only because of the drugs." She elaborated as Jewel chuckled. "Believe me, I was just as overwhelmed like the rest of you. Seeing all of your faces again...made me realize how much we've all changed and how I missed so much of your lives. Sometimes I feel like weren't raised together and that we're strangers to each other and I hate that." She vented.
Allison pressed her lips together, understanding where she was coming from. "And I'm sorry I didn't get to attend your wedding, or visit you when Claire was born. You know I wish I could've, but — "
