Most people wake up to the sound of an annoying alarm clock, or the sound of birds singing, or even someone's laughter and happiness. However, in Ronnie and Ann's case, they woke up to the sound of rambling, in Japanese.

"I knew that you girls would pig out and not clean up after yourself. How can you stay up all night when you know full well that you're going to school the next day?!! Are you two even listening?!!!! Wake up!!" Ann's set of blue eyes clashed with another pair, clear and beautiful, the eyes were full of anger and we're so heated that Ann couldn't look into them. Those were the eyes of her Mother.

"Morning, Mom." Ann greeted in Japanese, with her Mother here, Ann dares not break the strictly-Japanese-in-the-house rule. "When did you get back?"

"Just now. Why are you two still in your jamies? If you don't hurry up, you'll miss the first bus!!!" Ann's Mother sighed angrily as she stormed out of the room not before shouting. "If I come back and you're still there, the garbage won't be the only thing that's going to be thrown out!!"

Ann's eyes widened in alarm, she hastily woke up the sleeping beauty next to her. "Get up, we gotta go to school!!!"

Ronnie groaned as she opened her eyes to look at her friend. "Stop yelling, I've been awake before your Mom got here. And also, I already heard your Mom." Ronnie pushed Ann to the floor in order to sleep comfortably on the couch.

"How did you-" Ann looked at Ronnie with surprise. "Do you have psychic powers?"

"First off, I'm not Raven." Ronnie looked over at Ann blankly as if asking, 'why?' "And second of all, you've forgotten that I learnt how to speak Japanese a long time ago, dude."

"Oh. I forgot you could understand us." Ann admitted sheepishly.

"Why? 'Cause I'm black?" Ronnie asked, mock attitude in check. Ann stared at her with a 'seriously' expression.

"Let's go shower before my Mom gets back." Ann said, standing up from the floor as she dusted her butt, glaring at Ronnie.

"Sorry to break it to you, Ann. But I don't roll like that." Ronnie hugged herself, moving further away from Ann.

"What the hell?!!!" Ann exclaimed amusedly. She shook her head at Ronnie. "You shower in my room while, I'll shower in my Mom's."

"Again, sorry to break it to you. But, we can't shower in the rooms. We shower in the bathroom." Ronnie said with a smug smile.

"Cole has done more harm than good. Just move!!!"

"Yesh. Fine." Ronnie finally left to Ann's room with Ann in tow. "I'll be done in a flash." Ronnie told Ann, leaning by the door of Ann's bathroom.

Ann paused picking out her clothes from her dresser to nod mockingly at her friend. "Oh please. I'll be faster than flash."

"We'll see about that." Ronnie shut the door dramatically after Ann shouted,

"We will!!"

The two ended up getting chased out of the house by Ann's Mother after they had finished dressing. She claims they were wasting precious time.

"Bye Mom!!!" Ann yelled, hurrying out of the house with Ronnie in tow.

"Bye Ma!!!" Ronnie shouted, closing the door behind her.

The two stopped by at their favorite diner, 'Favorite diner', to get some doughnuts and milkshake for breakfast. They were lucky to be just in time for the bus to leave, they even got seats despite the bus being crowded.

"Wow. Chocolate milkshake and doughnuts. It reminds me of the day we went for the ice rink excursion." Ronnie said with a smile, slapped with a sense of nostalgia.
