"What is it, Ann?" Ronnie asked, she was sitting on the bed of her friend as the girl paced round her room, stopped by the mirror then paced again. "Annie!" Ronnie said which stopped Ann on her tracks.

"I hate that nickname."

"You've been walking around like a maniac ever since we got back from school, I'm sure you paced around in the bathroom before you showered."

"What?" Ann drawled out with a scoff. "No I didn't."

"Sure you didn't." Ronnie replied sarcastically. She went over to the corner of the bed where her small box stayed, to sort some clothes. The heavy gaze on Ann settled on her until Ronnie asked. "What happened?"

"Oh sigh." Ann said, she went into Ronnie's line of vision by sitting on the window seat. "Come sit with me."

"What's this 'Girl meets world'?" Ronnie replied without looking up from her task.

"Ron." Ann whined. "C'mon."

"Fine." Ronnie sighed. She sat next to Ann and immediately took most of the space by propping her leg up.

"Dude." Ann pushed her leg down. "Seriously?"

"I don't have your time." Ronnie said moving back to her previous task.

"Sigh, sigh, sighy-sigh, sigh."

"Sighy-sigh?" Ronnie repeated with a raised brow. "That's new."

"Sigh, sigh, sigh!!" Ann continued. She sprawled across the pink window seat, the colour is seen more around her room, her bed sheets, her sofa, her rug. She even extended it to Ronnie's room although it was less there than here.

"Keep saying that and Sai would come out of Naruto to meet you." Ronnie said.

"Sai's in Boruto now."

"So you want the married Sai to meet you rather than the teenage Sai? That speaks volumes."

"Whatever." Ann said like a little child, she even stuck out her tongue, Ronnie did the same, they made faces at each other until Ann walked to the mirror.

"Mirror Mirror on the wall, why's my friend not normal at all?" Ronnie mimicked Ann's voice in a squeaky tiny manner.

"Mirror mirror on the wall, why's Ronnie always planning my downfall?" Ann asked.

"Mirror mirror on the wall, when will they notice I've been standing in the hall?" Mirai's voice asked startling the girls. So much that Ronnie found herself on the floor.

"Mom!" Ann exclaimed in Japanese. "You scared us."

Mirai smiled at her daughter. "I'm going out for a while." She then turned to Ronnie. "Are you leaving?"

"Yeah."

"What?!!" Ann exclaimed. "Your two weeks isn't over yet. We still have to watch that horror movie marathon today."

"Thank God I'm leaving." Ronnie replied, sorting her clothes with more speed.

"You're so weak hearted, Ron." Ann said shaking her head.

"Who would've known." Mirai added. "The brave Ronnie Blue who can run into a burning building to rescue a person can't handle horror movies."

Ronnie pouted as the two laughed happily. They looked so alike it was hard to believe that Mirai was almost forty. Ronnie almost smiled at the way their eyes sparkled. "Why do you two have blue eyes anyways?" She muttered already knowing the answer.

"Dad." The two replied. They smile at each other once again. This time Mirai continued. "Same way you have gray eyes thanks to your Mom."

Thinking about her Mother brought Ronnie sour memories of a particular night. She looked up at the two, she was sure talking about Ann's Father also brought some sour memories.
