Kimberly's POV

I felt myself laying on a soft bed.

My senses slowly drifted back to me. My head was aching. My arms were laying at my sides, a blanket covering most of my body.

I heard another heart beat in the room, alerting me of another person.

"Oww..." I moaned, bringing a shaky hand up to the large lump on the back of my head. How did I get here? Speaking of which, were was I?

"Are you okay my love?" A male voice spoke up from my left.

Onyx?!

I pried my eyes open, my wolf eager to see him.

My vision was very blurry for a second as my eyes adjusted to the pale light.

I stroked the soft covers with one hand, and looked to my left.

I felt tears blur my vision.

Guess who?

Not Onyx.

In fact, it was a total stranger.

"W-who are you?" I stumbled, my throat burning like fire. My hair was greasy, so that meant I had been out for a while. My heart broke. It wasn't him.

And it may never be.

The stranger had dark brown hair, and beautiful brown orbs. He was gorgeous, but nobody was more gorgeous than Onyx. Nobody.

"Your mate, my love." He whispered, a smile lighting his flawless features.

WHAT????

Onyx was my mate!!

How dare he? he knew I had found my mate, but that clearly didn't stop him from saying that.

I started at him, wide eyed, and half yelled, "NO! ONYX IS MY MATE!!! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!"

He flinched back, and whispered, "Yes you are. I know it. You know it."

Didn't he have something, I don't know, maybe a Life?

That was it. I felt my anger rising to levels I didn't even know was possible. I brought in a deep, long, shaky breath.

Breath in, Kimberly, and breath out.

I shut my eyes tight for a second, clenching my fists at my sides. I felt the need to rip his head off his puny body. My body shook, my knuckles ghost white.

He was going to get it. He was going to die. Soon. As soon a sI break out of this hell. He will die. Don't worry, he will be dead.

Than I will live a normal life. I will have a family. A pack. I will be accepted. Loved. Trusted. Respected.

One day. One day I will be all of those things.

But that day was not near. Right now, I will be lucky if I even get out of this alive.

A thought tumbled through my head. Where were my parents??

My shaking subsided, along with my anger. I let out a small sigh. I wish Onyx was here. Why couldn't I be normal? Why don't they just leave me alone???

When I opened them again, I saw the stranger looking at me with awe and curiousness.

I shook my head side to side and mumbled, "You are crazy. I am not your mate, I have already found my mate. His name is Onyx."

He stood up quickly from the small chair he had been sitting in. The chair went flying across the room, leaving a huge dent in the sea-foam green walls.
