----Kimberly's POV***
I stared at him wide eyed, my heart in my throat. I turned my head to the side. It was him. But wasn't he dead? I'm sure he's dead. He had to be dead.
I'm going nuts. I'm seeing things. I'm delusional.
Am I dead???
I have to be dead. I'm in heaven now, arn't I?
I turned my head over, and gently pinched a flab of skin in between my teeth, and bit down, taking no mercy.
Ouch. That was very painful, even in wolf form. But the pain began to ebb away.
I shook my fur, and looked back at my brother. He was laying down on the ground, his head on his paws as he watched me closely.
I wrinkled my nose as I picked up the smell of a dead rabbit. Yuck.
I sat down, not really knowing what to do now.
What would you do if you just found out that your 'DEAD' brother is still alive? Well I didn't know what to do, so I sat down, and stared at him, not wanting to miss any details. He still had the same eyes, but what scared me most was the scars. So many scars. I hope they didn't look as bad in human form. But the scars did give him a very, strong, kind of 'don't with me' kind of look. It made him look stronger.
He stared right back at me, a very gleeful look in his eyes. I turned my head side to side, in search of any clothes under the many trees. I walked up to a large oak, his eyes burning holes into my back. I scraped up a few dead leaves that were hiding two pairs of clothes.
I gently bent over, grasped them in my mouth, than quietly walked over to my brother. I stopped in front of him, and dropped the clothes in front of him. He cocked his head to the side, and gave me a questioning look. I gave him a small wolf-like grin as I quickly turned around, and hid behind some over grown bushes. I shifted, my fur disappearing and turning into flesh and hair. My claws shrank, my snout shrinking, as my ears turned into normal human ones. I picked up the clothes I had dropped in front of me, and almost grimaced.
In my hand was a bright yellow tee-shirt, and some purple sweat pants. Jezz, they had to pick these colors? I would stand out like a beachball in the snow for crying out loud! I wrinkled my nose in discust, but put them on anyways.
I turned around, and marched back to where I had last seen my brother. In the place of his wolf stood my brother. He was so tall! His muscles flexed as he stretched, eyeing me up and down carefully.
"You grew up," I whispered, looking him up and down. When I had last saw him, he was a little shorter, and not as, well, sexy. If he wasn't my brother, and if I hadn't found my mate, I would definatly date him. From his brown soft hair, to his golden eyes, he made every women we encountered pray for some fun with him, if you know what I mean.
"He looked at me wide eyed, taking me all in. "Wow." He looked flabergasted, looking me up and down, muttering to himself. "You are very gorgeous, Kimberly."
"Thank you, I'd say the same thing, but you really let yourself go," I replied, motioning towards himself. That was a complete and utter lie.
He gave me a smirk, and he told me, getting his act together, "I would have like our reunion to be better, but I'm afraid you are still in danger. Follow me." He motioned for me to follow him, as he turned and started walking off into the dense brush.
I let out a small breath, looked both ways, and trudged after my 'supposedly' dead brother.
We had been walking for HOURS. I was currently sweating like crazy, while he just gave me a goofy grin. I let out a small growl, and he let out a light chuckle. I turned my head to the side, ignoring his laughter as he continued on.
