Dark Ezential kept walking up to the tavern stumbling a bit, still drunk as ever. He looked behind him as he felt a strange presence that he hadn't felt before, yet it seemed familiar. He didn't see anything but a blurred forest so he shrugged it off as nothing and continued walking over to the tavern.

He slammed the door open, making everyone look at him for a moment. Paying no mind to everyone around him he slowly made his way up to the counter to get his usual. It was a strong alcoholic beverage, one that would make anyone drunk from just a few gulps. With how much he's consumed he should be dead, if he was of human nature anyway. He was a light elf, a creature with an incredible healing rate among many other attributes. His god-like nature also made alcohol not do much damage to his system.

"I'll uh..." Ez began to fall down, catching himself on the edge of the counter, "I'll just have the... the uh... usual."

"Sure." The bartender grabbed a bottle and threw it to Ez, who didn't have any free hands at the time as they were hidden beneath his cloak. Regardless he was able to catch it with telekinesis before it hit the ground.

He began downing the drink, unable to finish it all without dropping the bottle with about half left in it, spilling the drink onto the floor. He then slammed his head down on the counter as if he was about to fall asleep.

"Ezential my friend," The bartender began to clean a glass, "you know you'll have to pay me someday right? I've given you a couple hundred bottles the past three days alone, and this stuff ain't cheap."

"I pay you... but sparing... sparing your uh... life."

"You really have to pay me sometime. A life doesn't have a price so they say, I'd prefer if you gave me coin or paper like everyone else. You may be a good friend of mine, but that doesn't mean you can just walk all over me."

"What... ever... I'll just go rob one of the banks or something. Plenty of... of them around. Not a lot of security... it's uh... not good."

"I don't care HOW you get the money, just as long as you get it. Don't talk too loud 'bout that here either, I'd rather everyone think I keep my nose out of trouble. Y'know, it's been almost a year since you started to get drunker and drunker, coming here constantly. If you don't mind me asking... what made you like this?"

"I..." Ez raised his head a bit, avoiding eye contact with the bartender, having flashbacks from when he was demoted, "I'd rather... not uh... talk about it." He slammed his head down again, "Can you uh... get me... another."

"I think you've had enough my friend. I know you can handle the stuff, but I think you should chill a bit on it alright?"

"I said-"

"I know what you said, I heard it, but I'm not the one drunk out of my mind. You've had enough."

Ez didn't reply but instead looked up at the bartender, eventually standing up. His frown turned into a grin and his eye flashed.

"Don't tell me... WHEN I'VE HAD ENOUGH!"

Without any warning a spike flew right through the bartender's neck and killed him in a flash. This caused the entire bar to look in horror as the bartender was pinned dead to the wall. Ez was just staring at the poor man with a grin and a twitch in his eye, until someone screamed "You killed him!" forcing Ez to snap back to reality and look back at the crowd paralyzed with fear. That's what the slaughter began, one by one bodies fell and blood was spilled. Ez had no intention of leaving anyone left, murdering every single person in sight.

Except one soul behind Ez who pulled out a pistol, aiming it at Ez's skull. The man fired his gun trying to put a stop to the bloodshed. Just before the bullet pierced his skull time somehow froze and the entire area was engulfed by a black void. The man tried his best to move but he was frozen too, all he could do was look in absolute terror as Ez looked dreadfully over his shoulder. Slowly he turned around, his body pitch black and his eyes pure red. He began to walk towards the man, the sounds of his footsteps echoed in the void.
