Shane's POV

I heard my phone go off really late at night. I hear Joey groan.

Joey: Shaney?

Shane: Sorry babe.

Joey: Go answer it.

I picked up and walked into the bathroom so I wouldn't bother him more.

Shane: Hello?

Sawyer: Hi Shane.

Shane: Sawyer? Why are you calling me so late at night?

Sawyer: Come outside. Hurry.

Then he hangs up. I sighed and walk out of the bathroom. I check and Joey is asleep. I silently sneak downstairs and outside.

I see Sawyer standing in front of me.

Shane: What do you need Sawyer?

Sawyer: Sorry to wake you up but I knew we couldn't meet during the day. But anyways I need to talk to you.

Shane: Ok. Talk.

Sawyer: Well I was wondering if you could convince your friends to let me live with you.

Shane: Why?

Sawyer: My parents want me to move out and I can't afford my own place.

Shane: I don't know Sawyer... They aren't really find of you...

Sawyer: Can you please just ask?

Shane: Fine. I will.

Sawyer: And um, Shane?

Shane: Yeah?

Sawyer: How much do you love Joey? Like are you planning on marrying him?

Shane: Yeah. I want to get married someday and start a family.

I smiled at that thought. Hopefully that will happen soon. Maybe in a few years.

Sawyer: Oh...

Shane: Is something wrong?

He looked really upset.

Sawyer: I'm fine.

Shane: You sure?

Sawyer: No.

I hugged him. He sighed.

Shane: Wanna talk about it?

He pulled away from the hug and frowned.

Sawyer: Remember what I told you last year in high school?

Shane: How could I forget?

Sawyer: Ok the reason I pretend to be homophobic is...

Shane: Is?

He sighed and nervously glanced around.

Sawyer: I'm gay.

Shane: Wow. Really?

Sawyer: Well yeah.

Shane: Why would you bully me then?

Sawyer: I was just trying to be straight. I didn't want to be gay because before Joey came along no one was ok with it. He changed everything.

Shane: I know...

Sawyer: I'm so sorry Shane. I'm an asshole I know. And if I ever hurt you again you can go tell everyone that.

Sawyer: Yeah...

Shane: So what about that?

Sawyer: I like someone.

Shane: Who?

Sawyer: They're in a relationship.

Shane: Ok. Who do you like?

Sawyer: Um...

Shane: Come on. You can trust me Saw-

And his lips were on mine. My eyes widen.

He likes me.

Oh my god.
