Chapter 15- Overheard

Shane's POV

I haven't done anything with Sawyer for a whole week. I wanted to prove to Joey that I loved him even though I didn't deserve him at all.

But Sawyer obvious didn't like that I was ignoring him. Everyday he'd ask to hang out with me. Everyday I said no.

But tonight he dragged me out of bed in the middle of the night. He forced me into his room and kissed me.

Joey's POV

It was the middle of the night when I heard someone walk into our room. At first I was scared and I held on to Shane a bit tighter. Then I heard voices.

Shane: Sawy-

Sawyer: Shh!

He covered Shane mouth and dragged him into the hall. I think they went into Sawyer's room.

I waited a minute before I decided to follow them. I heard whispers coming from Sawyer's room. I pressed my ear against the door.

Shane: Sawyer I can't. Joey thinks I hate him.

Sawyer: But you've been ignoring me for a week.

Is Sawyer jealous of me.

Shane: You're just a friend. Joey is my boyfriend. I need to spend more time with him.

Sawyer: Come on Shane. I miss you...

It was silent for a second.

Shane: No Sawyer.

I heard him walk towards the door. I ran back to our room and laid down in bed. Shane walked in a few seconds after.

Shane: Joey?

I stayed silent. He turned and walked into the bathroom. About 5 minutes later he came out and laid down next to me.

He wrapped his arms around me. I cuddled into his chest.

Shane: I love you baby.

I smiled.

Joey: I love you too Shaney...

His kissed my forehead and then went back to sleep.

I couldn't sleep though. I couldn't help but wondering if I heard what Shane and Sawyer were talking about correctly.

Did Sawyer miss hanging out with Shane a lot? Or is he cheating?

No Joey, he's not cheating. Shane looked you in the eyes and said it. He loves you and only you.

I nodded to myself before settling down and going to sleep.
