Chapter 21- Come Back

Joey's POV

I walked downstairs to the living room. Today Shane is coming over.

Joey: Tyler? Troye? Can I talk to you guys alone?

Tyler: Sure. Come on babe.

We walked into the kitchen.

Tyler: What's up?

Joey: Well, um, Troye could I kiss Tyler?

Troye: Um what?

Joey: Could I kiss Tyler?

Tyler: Joey do you have some sort of crush on me?

Joey: No, no. I just want to kiss you in front of Shane when he gets here.

Troye: I don't think that's a good idea. Shane might get mad at you.

Tyler: I agree.

Joey: I just want him to understand how I feel right now. Please?

Tyler: Ok fine. As long as Troye is cool with it.

Troye: Yeah sure. But as long as you swear you don't like Tyler.

Joey: I don't like Tyler except as a friend.

Troye: Ok then. What's the plan?

Joey: Get rid of everyone and we sit in the living room right in front if the door. Troye you tell us when Shane is coming and we'll kiss. Ok?

Tyler: Alright. I'll go get rid of everyone.

He left me alone with Troye.

Troye: I have a feeling this might not work they way you want it to.

Joey: Yeah. Me too but I have to do it.

Troye: Fine. Good luck.

Later Tyler and I sat on the couch. Troye was standing near the window. After a few minutes he saw Shane.

Troye: He's here!

He ran out of the room. Tyler and I quickly kissed. I shut my eyes and pretended like I was enjoying the kiss.

In reality I was so scared to see Shane's reaction. I heard the front door open.

Shane: JOEY?!

Shane's POV

I was nervous to see Joey. I wanted him to forgive me. I slowly walked up to the door. I decided to just walk in because I technically live here.

When I opened the door I saw Joey making out with Tyler.

Shane: JOEY?!

They broke apart from the kiss. Tyler quickly ran out of the room. Joey just bit his lip.

Shane: What the f*ck?! You get mad at me for cheating but then you go do it?!

I walked over to him. He stood up.

Joey: Shane I-

Shane: You hypocritical bastard!

I shoved him an he fell on the couch.

Joey: Shane wait!

Shane: What?! Are you going to tell me it's ok because I cheated?!

Joey: No. Shane-

I was really angry now. I wanted to kill Tyler. Yeah it was one kiss but he has a boyfriend.

Joey: Shane please listen to me. I can explain.

Shane: Fine! F*cking explain to me why you're cheating!

Joey: I wasn't cheating! I only kissed Tyler to show you how I feel!

Shane: What?

Joey: It was a set up. I did it because I wanted you to know I how I felt before I forgave you.

I sat down on the couch next to him. He leaned his head on my shoulder.

Joey: I'm sorry.

Shane: No, I should be sorry.

Joey turned and hugged me. I smiled and hugged him back.

Joey: Will you move back in?

Shane: Sure. I'll go get my things. I'll be right back.

I kissed his cheek and then stood up. He jumped up and grabbed my face. He kissed me on the lips before letting me go.

Joey: There. Now you can go.
