Authors Note: Hello to everyone out there reading this story!  Hopefully people are still engaged!  I was so surprised when I looked on my feed and in less than 18 hours ten people had added my story to one of their reading lists!  That was huge so I just wanted to say thank you.  And I have never had people actually tell me to update...so it was awesome!!!!

Now we were all gathered in my room.  Including Rachel who had come inside and left the ladder out in the side lawn.

"You guys couldn't tell us Dani and El were coming?  Why not?"  asked Rachel.

"Well how could we?  It was supposed to be a surprise."  Louis told Rachel and I.

I just smirked.  "So you boys were going to get everything ready in a house that was not yours without Rachel and I finding out.  Smooth."

"Yeah.  We figured if we got you two doing something we could get ready."  Liam told us.

Rachel laughed.  "You were planning on getting dinner ready?  You guys are epic fails when it comes to cooking."

I laughed along with Rachel while the boys gave us both sour stares.

Zayn however interrupted our laughing fit.  "Well Dani and El will be here in about an hour so we better get our asses into gear."

Everyone nodded and then Rachel took lead.  "Liam, Zayn, clean up as much as you can. Harry, Louis, clean the front lawn and make sure to get the ladder back into the garage.  Niall, tell the rest of the family that Dani and El are coming.  Make sure Marla, Terry, Greg, Josh and Mom all know.  Shelby and I will get dinner ready.  Alright."

Rachel put her hand out waiting for everyone else to join.  I put my hand on top of hers followed by all the boys.

"1...2...3...break!"  We all yelled and went to do our assignments.

Rachel and I ran down the steps and straight into the kitchen.

"What the hell are we supposed to make in one hour?"  I asked.

"I was thinking grilling." She said.

"Burgers?"  I asked.

"What's better then having a nice summer cook out?"  asked Rachel.

I smiled and we got straight to work.  I got the meat from the fridge and Rachel got the grill ready.

"Niall be careful!  Don't tangle those lights."  Rachel yelled at Niall as he hung lights in the backyard trees.  "Zayn make sure to get more marshmallows from inside!"

We were hurrying to get everything ready for a cookout.  The boys were frantic and Rachel was yelling at everybody.  I have never had to plan a cookout in one hour!

"Guys it's 5:57!"  yelled Greg.

"Hurry!"  I yelled.  We got the chairs around the fire pit and Niall plugged in the lights.  The backyard was now a total cookout dream.
