A Wedding of a Lifetime

Authors Note: So this is the wedding chapter! So stay tuned! This is not the last chapter but it is close to. And lastly please excuse any mistakes or words that don't work in a sentence. I am updating on my iPod and you guys know how much spellcheck can help and how much it can suck!

 Sorry This chapter is not super long but I wanted it ot be short and sweet.  No big surprises here.  I wanted to mix it with the last chapter but decided to keep it on its own.

"Mom, you look like a dream!"  Rachel said as she watched my mom readjust her veil.

"Thank you, Hun."

"I like it too!"  Sam smiled.  Sam has been in a wheel chair ever since the accident and she has not been able to walk on her own yet.  She goes to physical therapy and has been improving but it has been a very slow process.  But she still gets to be the flower girl in the wedding!

"Oh ladies, this is really happening."  my mom smiled.  It was the perfect day for a wedding too.  It was early fall and this was one of the warmest autumns Minnesota has seen in years so nothing was better than the fall smell with the bright sun.  The boys had finished their tour and were able to get her for the wedding, which was a wonderful surprise to us all!

"Oh, almost time!"  Rachel said as she looked at her phone.  Outside the big white tent we were in was a beautiful area all set up for a small wedding.  And on the other side of the girls tent was the boys tent where Mark was with Niall and the other boys, as well as my brothers.

My mom had decided to go with a blue theme for the wedding and all us girls were dressed in our beautiful gowns.  Marla and I were my moms bridesmaids and Hanna and Eden were junior bridesmaids, and Sam got to be the flower girl.  And Sam's favorite part was that Louis was going to push her wheel chair down the aisle so she could throw her flowers.

I peaked out of the tent and saw all our guests seated and ready for the ceremony, I saw friends and family and even my cousin just staring at Zayn.  Oh that girl.

I saw Mark make his way to the front of the long white carpet that was laid out and I turned back to the girls.  Almost time!

"Mind if I interrupt?"  Louis asked and popped his head in.  I have a little girl to escort." he smiled.

I fluffed my dress skirt and stood behind Marla.  First to go out was Sam and Louis and then my mom followed them.  The Hanna and Eden followed by Marla and I.  We all looked beautiful in our dresses and Niall even winked at me as I walked down the aisle.

The crowd had all eyes on my mom and then all eyes on mom and Mark.  I stood up front with my little posse and watched as Mark smiled and took my moms hand.  This was actually happening, actually happening.  I was watching my mom get married to the guy of her dreams.

Eden, Hanna, and Sam smiled bright as my mom and Mark said their vows.  I knew the girls were overly excited to have a mom again.  They already considered her their mom but now it would be 100% official.

"I, Heather Lane, take you, Mark Kushner, to be my lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."  my mom said and I saw Marla tear up a bit.

"And I, Mark Kushner, take you, Heather Lane, to be my lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part."  Mark said back.

I bit my lip and smiled.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

Mark kissed my mom and Sam was the first to shout.

"Wooohooo!"  she yelled.  Everyone laughed and Sam blushed.

It happened, it finally happened.  My mom was once again married!

"I'm gonna get you!"  my little cousin Alice said as she chased Eden around the roof of Brit's pub.  We were able to get the entire roof seating to ourselves to use for the wedding after party, and let me say it was fabulous!

I sat with Niall and the rest of the guys as well as Rachel.  Sam was sitting with mom and her dad and Marla was of course with Terry.

"So?  We still have some time left here in America, what do we have to do before we leave?" asked Liam.

"Well, we need to have a bonfire!"  Rachel smiled.  "Mark makes the most amazing burgers on the grill and my mom lets us basically have as many smores as we can get down!"   she smiled.

"Okay bonfire it is, what else?"

"MOA!"  I grinned.  "Last time we were all there together you guys were picking me up in a limo after Louis basically saved me from a mob of crazy fans."

"I remember that."  he said.

"Well duh."  I laughed.

"We for sure have to go trick or treating!  Are you guys here for Halloween?"  I asked.

"I don't know if we are or not?"  Niall pondered.  " That is still a while away yet.  I mean we haven't even celebrated our birthday yet.  Besides won't you be at college."

I rolled my eyes playfully.

"If we are I call being Batman."  Liam joked.

"Oh and that makes Louis Superman, right?"  I joked back.

"Haha very funny, Shelby."  he rolled his eyes.  I swear Louis basically got his reputation from those video diaries so long ago.

"You know I miss those days when we were together all the time."  Rachel said.

"Yeah.  Me too."  Harry smiled and kissed Rachel on the cheek.  "But one day when we all get older we will all be together again and we won't have to worry about anything taking us apart.  I mean you guys are all my family."  Harry said.

"Yeah, I agree 100%."  Zayn said.

"Well true family always finds a way to be close to each other, no matter what."  I smiled.

"You're it!"  I heard Hanna yell and saw her Eden, Alice and more of my small cousins grinning and giggling.  They had tapped Louis and he shot me a mischievous grin.

"You girls better run because I am going to get you!"  he said and chased after them.  They all screamed with delight as they ran in a billion different directions.  To bad they didn't run in one direction.  See what I did there?

After a while the boys all gave a performance for the guests and some of my cousins my age literally swooned!  They were all in awe.  Too bad most of them lived too far away to spend more time with the guys.  I knew they really loved my crazy messed up family.

After the party settled down and it got later and later more people left.  My mom ,of course, stayed until all her guest had left.

"Well," she said coming up to me and smiling,  "That was one successful day.  Don't you think?"  she asked me.

I nodded and then I yawned.

"Someone looks tired."  Mark smiled.

I smiled too.  He put his arm around me and our big group walked out of the restaurant.

"Now everyone is welcome back at the house you five included."  Mark said pointing at the boys.  "However you sleep in the girls rooms you are on the floor."  he said.  Making Rachel and I blush.  "I just got these two girls and I can't let them go!"  he smiled.

"Don't worry sir,"  Niall said.  "We are gentlemen of the most classy sort."

"Wow."  Sam said from Zayn's shoulders and we all laughed.  That girl was just too much.
