Author note: SHORT CHAPTER! well to sum it up this chapter pretty much sucks, for Shelby I mean.  And a small announcement...after I finish this book a new one will be coming out!  Not a sequel, but a Harry fanfic.  :D  And sorry for the late upload...I am kinda in Disney World so I don't have a lot of free time to type.  hehe.

Hope you enjoy!

"I seriously can't even believe this."  I said under my breath as I walked into the airport behind Liam.  Yesterday was Niall's big announcement about leaving, and here I am today at freaking 5:13 A.M. in the airport.  When we all got back to the hotel room last night the boys started packing, and just left all us girls aside.  I didn't understand, I still don't understand.  You would think they would at least talk to us while packing or argue with Niall about leaving.  No.  No one said one thing.

"Come on Shelby."  said Rachel as she tugged on my arm.  I had completely stopped in front of some random family while thinking and didn't comprehend reality.  I looked at the two parents and their three kids, all of which were carrying stuffed Mickey Mouses.  Well someone just came back from Disneyland.

"Sorry."  I said and kept walking with Rachel.  My brain didn't function properly in the early hours.  I was like an armadillo in many ways, I didn't have the best sight in the early hours and I just kinda walked wherever while being dumb.  I was not a morning person, hence the fact I was still in my P.J. pants and sweatshirt.  My face was washed but lacking much needed powder, and my hair was in a morphed messy side bun.  All in all Shelby Lane equaled Not Pretty.

Sadly, Niall and Paul had arranged for Dani and El to fly out with the boys.  Man they really sucked right now, Niall and Paul, not Dani and El.

"Louis."  I yelled as I saw the security line approaching.

"Yeah."  he said from way in front of me, thankfully he stopped, I DON"T run in the mornings.

"Make Niall change his mind, please."

Louis gave me a disappointed face.  "I can't."

"Well I can't go past security!  This is your last chance!"  I begged.

Louis just looked at me with a face that obviously gave off the sense of pity for me, and turned back facing forward and continued to walk with the group.

"Zayn!"  I called desperate.  He just turned around and shook his head.  He knew what I was going to ask.

I just stomped my foot on the hard floor like a two year old whining for a lollipop.  I gained many stares from people around us, and I didn't care, I already looked like a freakazoid.

Our group got to the security line and Paul handed the security officer at the entrance to the line all of the boarding passes and I.D.s.  She looked them over and handed them back to Paul.

"Alright."  said Paul.  We all stood in a weird circle as random business men passed us and went to the security line.

"Well I guess we better go."  said El awkwardly.  "Don't want to miss our flight."  she said finding sudden interest in her glittery TOMs.

"Yeah.  That would be bad."  said Rachel who apparenlty found her All Star converse fun to stare at.

"Will you all stop looking at the floor and just give me a hug."  said Louis pulling Rachel into his tight hug.

May I say it was just unnatural saying goodbye.  I knew it was for everyone.

"What does this mean about us?"  Rachel asked Harry.  I knew very well he didn't know how to respond.

"I guess we take a break, and live our lives.  We can still be together and write and email, but you know if we decided it will just be too hard, then we will make it a mutual decision to end this."

Rachel just nodded and gave Harry and giant hug and a kiss.

I gave all of them a hug and small smiles, except for Niall.  When I came to him he and I just looked at each other.  I stared into his blue eyes, and lost it inside.  I was dying.  My heart was beating fast at the thought of loosing him, and my head was pounding because of my overwhelming headache.

"Bye."  he said and and turned to walk into the securtiy line to join everyone else.  "I will really miss you, and I'm sorry."

"I will miss you too."  I said and watched as all my good friends walked through security.  When they were done and heading to the terminal Rachel had to turn to face me and practically pull me away.

Paul had given Rachel and I money to get a taxi back to the hotel, much to our luck we got the guy who loved to slam on the brakes at every red light, and whistle continuously!  I need my Irish man!  By the time our hotel came into view I literally felt like throwing up my bagel, I had for breakfast at way to early a time, because of my headache, and indescribable need for Niall.

Rachel and I walked through the empty lobby, and to the elevators where we then walked down a empty hallway, to an empty hotel room.  We did a lot  of walking through empty places.

"Do you think we just go back to normal?"  asked Rachel as she closed the door to our hotel room.

"No."  I told her.  "We are never going to be normal."

"Then how do we get over this?"  she asked.

"We don't."  I said seriously laying on the uncomfy hotel bed.

"What?"

"We don't.  We are still friends with them, and we will still see them, and we will be will them again.  But we don't forget."  I said.  Rachel nodded, however when I said we don't forget I never really knew how hard this was going to hit me.

'Don't forget' are two very, very, very strong words.
