Analysis Nine

It took Eren a minute to understand where the bullet had gone, but he felt sluggish as he was realizing what had happened. However, he wasn't going to lose that easily to this murderer, he wasn't going to fail Mina again. He grabbed Levi's arm to support his body in standing up, and his resolve in what he was going to do, and looked right into the murderer's eyes.

" I'm not going down that easily you bastard!" The brunette spoke through his clenched teeth, " Now you listen hear you asshole, and I don't want any evasions from the questions I'm going to ask you."

" If you want a Q and A then I'll gladly accept, only if you want the answers that badly, then you're going to have to fight me for them."

Levi backed away and pulled out what looked like a remote control. He pressed a button and the lights came on, along with the sound of the emergency shutters going down over the doors. Eren was like a caged bird but he needed to do this, so he stood up with shaking legs and walked down the steps as he was being forced to with a gun to his head. When they reached level ground in the room Levi turned and took about fifteen paces away from the brunette.

" Oh yeah, that shot earlier, I shot you with one of those paralysis bullets I use right here." Levi pointed to a spot on his neck with his gun as to show the brunette what he was talking about, " Usually it doesn't allow the person being affected to move around at all, but seeing that you're still able to walk really does make me wonder."

Eren was staring at the floor and wore a half hearted smile, " Yeah well, I can't help that my father tests his medicines and paralysis drugs on me. Must've built a small immunity to them over the years." The brunette was looking at Levi at this point, still wearing his somewhat sad smile.

" Well I don't want to waste any more time than I already have so, Eren, let's see if you're any good at hand-to-hand combat!" As soon as he finished speaking, Levi made a dashing start towards the brunette.

Eren remained still, counting the steps in his head, and when he heard Levi take his tenth step he leapt into action. He dodged the incoming attack and made quick moves in the defensive seeing as this murderer's reaction time was so quick. If Eren even attempted to go in for the offensive he'd surely get hit, or slashed if Levi had a knife. Surely enough this raven did and the tables had been turned.

On Levi that is.

Him pulling a knife on Eren was his undoing, as he wasn't aware that Eren has been training for scenarios exactly like this. The brunette had the advantage with this, so he closed the gap between the both of them with a running start.

" You really want to die that badly?! Come on you brat!!!"

Just as Levi's knife was about to plunge into Eren's chest, the brunette ducked and came up with his arms locking the murderer's in place. The two of them fell to the floor, Levi laying on his stomach while Eren was on top of him. Eren twisted the raven's hand for him to drop the knife, and he did after after groaning from the pain of his hand being turned the wrong way.

" Now then, you're going to answer my questions. Why would you do this? Why did you kill Mikasa? Why Thomas? What made you turn out this way?!"

" One question at a time you damn brat, you certainly haven't changed since I last saw you two years ago."

" Answer me!" The brunette continued to tighten his hold on Levi and started to twist his hand again.

" Alright, alright alright! Just stop twisting my hand! Damn..." Levi huffed in irritation and spoke, " The whole ordeal with Mikasa was an accident, Thomas was next on the list, and I'd rather not tell you what made me the way I am." The raven chuckled but ceased as soon as Eren twisted his wrist tighter.

" What you did with Mikasa was no accident you fucker! I swear I'll make sure you're behind bars for all that you've done!"

Before Eren lost his reasoning in breaking the raven's hand right at the wrist, the both of them heard a loud knocking on the main entrance.

" THIS IS THE POLICE!!! WE'RE COMING IN!!!"

There were loud thuds against the emergency shutter and all the while Levi was trying to struggle his way out of Eren's grasp on him, and all attempts were futile. The shutter eventually crashed down to the floor and about a dozen police investigators ran inside with guns loaded and riot shields up. The emergency door shutter to the right was knocked down too, the escape routes were blocked off, so Levi was cornered. That wasn't going to stop him in trying to escape though.

" GET THE FUCK OFF ME YOU BRAT!!!"

Levi managed to escape the brunette's hold but was quickly swarmed by the police investigators. As much as he tried in pushing them away from him in an effort to escape their blockade around him, he couldn't get out of this. Not this time. A police investigator cuffed him and with the assistance of another investigator they started to lead the murderer out of the building.

Eren, however, stopped them and looked directly at Levi.

" I'm sorry, Levi. May you find peace." He didn't mean to sound aggressive about it but he couldn't stand it, but he watched as Levi rose his head and glared right at him.

" Don't you sleep soundly tonight, old friend." Levi hissed.

An old friend? Well, his old friend was the one killing his other friends, and the reason behind it he had yet to find out. The two investigators took him out of the room and as they did so they passed the Chief Investigator. Erwin walked up to Eren and lay his hand on his shoulder. Eren didn't bother to turn to look at Erwin, he didn't want to.

" I'd like to thank you yet again, only this time I now owe you a favor."

" He'll escape, Sir. I know he will."

" Now don't you worry about that, he'll be under strict guard at all times. So you can rest assured with that in mind." Erwin's hand slipped off of the brunette's shoulder as he turned to walk out of the facility, " Tell your friends they won't have to worry either."

All of the commotion around the brunette was starting to make him dizzy, he could only guess it was the paralysis drug starting to take affect. His sight became blurry and he was losing his balance until finally he fell to the floor. The last thing he saw was of a small few investigators rushing to him.
