Eren was sitting in a chair at the dinning table of his soon to be house, thinking of what he was doing was the right move or not. Wouldn't one do anything in his power to protect his childhood friend? Wouldn't he go against others to keep his friend out of trouble? Questions like these swirled violently in the brunette's head, but he kept hold of what was pushing him to do this. As much as he hated to admit it Levi was right about his motive, he was doing this out of his own selfishness, but he wasn't doing this just because of that but for the raven too. Eren thought that Levi might be tired of the police chasing him without break, so this was his breather.

The brunette groaned and stood up from the chair, walking over to the living room and turned on the TV. Eren wanted the house to be fully furnished so it'd make things easy for him, and because he doesn't have much to bring over anyway. It was kind of convenient for right now but once he moves out of the family house things would get intense, not only with his training for the army but with Levi with the brunette as well. It wasn't a hassle, no, but the issue was that once word gets around that he had bought a house the brunette's "friends" would want to come over, so Eren would have to keep Levi a secret for now.

As the teenager was searching through the channels to watch something aside from the news, Eren heard footsteps coming from the foyer and turned to see Levi with earbuds in his ears. The raven took one out to talk with the brunette.

" You haven't been yourself, and I don't know if I like that or not. Almost makes me want to go off the leash and kill someone."

" You won't."

" You really want to test that theory?!"

" No."

" I guess I was wrong about you. You did change."

" How so?"

" You're more annoying than you were back then."

" You make it sound like it was a lifetime ago."

" Whatever, so what am I supposed to do when my 'withdrawals' start up?"

" I've thought of that and I have a plan. As much as I hate the idea of it, I'll do it just so you can't hurt anyone else during the week."

" Alright then, what is it?"

" Any urges you have you can inflict onto me, just make sure if you plan on doing those kinds of things you do it where there's hard tile so it's easier to clean up." Eren gulped hard as he just listened to what he had said.

Levi couldn't believe what he was hearing. Use Eren for his urges? Was he crazy? Did the brunette even know what the raven was after? If he did he wouldn't be saying that. Inside Levi's heart sparked a small part of his old self that was screaming for the raven not to comply with this offer. It's urge to protect something was so strong it was making his heart ache from the pain of it. The raven quickly locked that part up again and smirked.

" Sounds like fun."

Eren continued to look at the floor, thinking about what was to come for the week, as he thought about what Levi might do to him. Yet at the same time he wasn't scared of the raven, quite the opposite really. As weird as it sounds he was glad Levi accepted his terms, but it was only because he was happy that the raven wouldn't hurt those he cared for. Yet, there was something nagging on him all the more. Like there was a premonition he couldn't shake off his mind. He didn't mind though since he got a murderer to accept another term of his deal with him.

The brunette didn't want the topic to stir any more of a conversation so he changed it to something else.

" I see you found your iPod."

" My iPod?"

" Yeah, do you not remember when you gave it to me?"

" I guess not seeing how many people I killed."

He did it again, but Eren was going to persist in his change of the topic, " Well, when we were freshmen you had told me that I was trying too much and you thought I was stressed most of the time. So you gave me your iPod and told me, 'If you ever feel alone or stressed, listen to the music on here.'"

" I said that? Well that's ironic."

" I suppose it is now. To tell you the truth, this feels so surreal."

" And how is that? Honestly, you're even more annoying than you were last I saw you our freshmen year."

" If that's how you think of me right now then why involve me in all of this? What's your end game with me? If you wanted to kill me you could have done it already, yet you didn't."

" Because each time I was detained by either you or the wraps."

" You could've killed me when we first met. We used to train together before you went missing, and you were always stronger than me. Every time I held you down I used all I had with full knowledge that you'd be able to shake me off instantly. Why didn't you?"

Levi was at a loss for words. He had forgotten all the times he had spent with Eren before now, and because of that he was cornered. Eren certainly did improve on his deductive reasoning, but what Levi didn't know was that that wasn't the only thing the brunette improved on.

AN: Sorry this is up so late, but I had some pretty shitty things go down and I lost all motivation to update anything for a while. And I do apologize if this chapter is a tad shorter than the rest, but I was running out of motivation to finish it up into some kind of cliffhanger so yeah. I hope you enjoyed and I'll see you in the next chapter.
