Two worlds collide

Chapter 4

( Just replace robin and starfire with gender swapped version of themselves in the others spot)
We later returned from getting pizza. We had decided to just order some and take it home as young justice had stayed home to rest. When we got back, they were all sitting on the couch in the living room. KF instantly smelled the pizza,came running forward,grabbed the pizza and brought it back to the couch. I looked at Jay who just shrugged. We ate our pizza,and the team asked us questions about the teen titans. We answered their questions with help from the rest of the team. We had gotten so caught up in talking I almost didn't see Jay heading up to the roof. I decided to follow her up there,and see if she was okay as she said she was concerned about this. I snuck away from the teams and left to go find my sister.

I let out a deep sigh. I don't think I can do this. I have to lead young justice on a mission and lead the titans. I can't do it. I hugged my knees and brought them into my chest. I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. The person sat down and pulled me into their chest. "It's okay Jack, I won't judge you". I sat up and I looked him in the face. He brought his hand up to my face and removed my mask to reveal my blue eyes. "I can't do this" I told him. "Just because I'm Batman's kid,and I know about this place I'm suppose to lead a team that I know are giving me funny looks as they now know about the titans,and that now in their minds,are thinking that we betrayed them!" I said. Robin stared at me and slowly removed his mask to reveal his blue eyes as well. "Working under Batman has never been easy but, as long as we stuck together, everything would turn out okay" He told me. I smiled at him and nodded. "As long as we're together" I  said.  I gave him a hug,and we stayed up there talking,and laughing as the sun prepared to set.

As me,the team,and the young justice chatted over the pizza at one point friend Robin came down from going up to the roof. I had seen Jay go up there but I decided to let Robin talk to her instead. She didn't come down with him which didn't reassure me. I got up and walked over to him. "What is the matter with Jay" I asked him. He looked at the group of heroes on the couch. "She's a bit nervous as she thinks the team could possibly be mad at us,and that leading two teams is going to be challenging" He said. I nodded as she had explained earlier that she was kind of nervous about all of this. "Why don't you go talk to her?" He said. I shrugged even though on the inside I was kind of excited as I get to talk to her alone.
I walked up the steps to the roof thinking about what I was going to say. I opened the door to the roof,and there she was. She was sitting by the edge,feet dangling off,and she was probably listening to the music as she told me it was something she liked. I walked over and sat down next to her. "Rob told you I was up here" she said. "Well yes but I also saw you leave" I explained to her. She removed the earbuds and placed them back in her belt. "You should not worry" I told her. I placed my hand on top of hers. "Since,the first day I met you, you showed me that you are strong and capable of anything you set your mind to". Her face became red and she tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "Thanks" she said. I smiled and kissed her on the cheek. I then stood up,and held out my hand. She took it and together we headed back downstairs to our friends.
