Mikey's P.O.V:
"Yes, Mikey, that was very good. Now in due time, they'll start to respect you more. Just like you wanted," said Sirds.
I looked at Sirds and smiled. He smiled back at me. "Yeah, maybe they will," I said hopefully.
I was sitting on one of the rooftops. I looked up to the sky. The clouds were red and yellow. The sun was slowly going down the horizon. The tall skyscrapers reflecting the light. I was feeling hopeful, but depression still washed over me as though I were drowning. I didn't want to deal with this for much longer. I just want this to end.
"So Sirds, what are you gonna do after your plan is finished?" I asked him.
"Well, um, I mean, everything you do. I am just a representation of you," he replied.
"Oh."
I put my hand behind my back and laughed awkwardly. I had completely forgotten about that. But then something else entered my mind. "Hey Sirds, do you think we make a difference to the team?"
"What do you mean Mikey?"
"I mean, have we ever done something or accomplished something that the guys could never do, yet the accomplishment actually mattered?"
Sirds thought for a moment. "I mean, we did save them from those mutant wasps back in the day. And we did guide them through Dimension X. We even cut off the tongue of the Mega Shredder after you and Leo were captured to save literally everyone in New York. So yeah, I think we have."
"And you don't think the guys wouldn't be able to do it?" I asked.
"Um, well, I mean, not as fast and impactful as you though, but that's something, right?" said Sirds.
"I guess it is."
But the more I thought about it, was it really? Even if they couldn't do it as good as me, they could still do it, meaning they technically didn't need me.
As I was deep in my thoughts, my T-Phone started going off. I turned it on to see the location of the Shellraiser. Ha! Little did my brothers know, I planted one of Donnie's trackers on the Shellraiser when Leo was arguing with me. Leo thought he could keep me out of the patrol. Well, at least he tried. I started running over rooftops to their location. "Mikey."
I stopped in my tracks. I looked over to where the heart was floating. "Yeah bud? What'cha need?" I said.
"I feel as though I haven't been entirely honest with you," he replied.
"Oh, um, that's okay. If you want, you can tell me now," I told him.
"I... I'm not really what I say I am."
I frowned and narrowed my eyes. "What do you mean?"
Sirds was looking a little pale, considering he was just an animated heart. "I'm... not really you. I'm not your self conscious or your spirit. I'm really a fifth dimensional being who just happens to have been assigned to helping you."
Okay, if I wasn't confused before, now I am. "A fifth dimensional being? What does that even mean? And what about you being assigned?"
"It's too complicated to explain. Let's just say I've made a few mistakes, and I'm helping you to redeem myself. I've been given your memories. With your memories and my high intellectual power, I think we can help each other. And if I fail to help you, I will be destroyed."
I needed a second to think. I don't know if I was angry or confused, because he was only helping me for his own benefits. He's just helping me because he's been forced to. But at the same time, he's made mistakes, and he had to pay the consequences. I knew what that was like. "Okay. But why are you now telling me this?"
Sirds said, "Because in order for the plan to work, you need to know the truth and the plan."
"What plan?"
"I'll tell you all of it right now. Take a seat, we'll be here for a while."
That's chapter 6 for you all. Now I know the TMNT 2012 timeline may sound messed up, but just pretend this is a whole different universe. Trust me, thing will get less complicated from there. Also, now we know that Sirds actually is not Mikey's spirit, but a 5th dimensional being. This story really is taking turns for the interesting.
