Chap 20: Worry

Leo's P.O.V:

We were right in front of the building Mikey was on. We could see them, but they couldn't see us due to the angle of the building. We all stared in shock as Mikey was talking with Tigerclaw. "So Tigerclaw's behind this," accused Raph, "He must've brainwashed Mikey somehow."

"Maybe. I mean, Shredder could also be behind this by putting a brainworm in Mikey or something. But the question is how?" theorized Donnie.

I actually felt a little relieved now. Mikey wasn't a bad guy. He was just being controlled by a bad guy. "Doesn't matter right now. Okay guys, here's the plan. Donnie, Splinter, and I will climb the building while Raph distracts Tigerclaw. When the time is right, we'll ambush Tigerclaw. Splinter will take Mikey out of there while Donnie and I will protect them. After that, Raph will start up the Party Wagon and get us out of there. If anything goes wrong, we can count on the Shellraiser."

"Can I injure a Tigerclaw in anyway?" asked Raph.

"If it will distract him, so be it," I said.

Raph smiled mischievously. "But wait, if Mikey is being mind controlled, then what do we do if Tigerclaw uses him to attack us?" questioned Donnie.

"There's no time to discuss this. If we don't get Mikey now, we might not get him at all. He needs to tell us what's going on with him, and that's it. And if he does attack us, we'll just have to knock him out," I stated.

We all got out the van. I reached the building and started climbing the wall using the small cracks and misplaced blocks along with Splinter on my right and Donnie on my left. I heard Raph yell, "Hey! Tigerclaw! Step away from my brother!"

That's when we jumped to the top. I unsheathed my swords and held it in an offensive position. Tigerclaw yelled, "Footbots, attack!"

I hadn't noticed the Footbots on my right; one swung a Mace at me. I ducked at the last second and kicked it back. I spun around with my blades and cut the bot in half. 

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see purple smoke. I looked to see Splinter coughing and Mikey gone. It took me a second to realize, but Tigerclaw was running away. I looked over at Donnie fighting Footbots. "Donnie! We need to go after Tigerclaw!"

"But what about Mikey? He needs us!" reminded Donnie.

"If anyone knows what's going on with Mikey, it's Tigerclaw," I reasoned.

 A Footbot with a Kama and Mace tried to bludgeon me, but I used my swords to protect myself. I didn't realize that the Footbot had an extra set of arms holding the same weapons until Raph came in at the last minute and slammed into it. 

The Footbot Raph knocked down came after me, but I stabbed it in the gut with my left katana and sliced off it's head my other katana. "Raph, you and I will chase after Tigerclaw. Donnie and Splinter will go after Mikey," I stated.

"Donnie, make sure you turn on your phone location so we can track you after you're done," said Raph.

Donnie nodded. "Good thinking. Raph, let's go!" I said

"Come on Master Splinter!" yelled Donnie.

Raph nodded. Two Footbots had ran away with Tigerclaw. Donnie pretty much took care of the other Footbots, so we didn't have to worry that much. Raph and I chased after Tigerclaw.

Donnie's P.O.V:

I sat in the passenger side of the Party Wagon. Since we were looking up at a building, I had to lean into the dashboard and look up through the front window. We saw Tigerclaw speaking to Mikey. They were near the edge, but they weren't paying attention to us.
