Don't Leave Me

Today is Saturday September 22, and it's been 2 days since my interview with People. Kim is coming to Boston today to visit me and we are planning on doing something, I just don't know what yet.

She lands in Boston at about 8:45am, so in about 30 minutes. I grab my purse, keys, and phone and head out the door to head to the airport to pick her up.

When I get to the airport, she is waiting for me with her suitcase. She looks up and sees me car and she begins waving and jumping like crazy.

"Get in loser before you embarrass me!" I yell jokingly and she just laughs and continues on. 

Eventually, she puts her stuff in the car and gets into the passenger seat. She gives me a hug and we head towards my dorm.

"How's college?" I ask her.

"Boring," she says rolling her eyes.

I laugh.

"How's Harvard?" she asks me with a slight sarcastic tone.

"It's great you know? I mean, ya."

She laughs and we talk some more. We haven't talked in so long, so we have a lot of catching up to do.

We arrive at my dorm and I help her bring her suitcase up to my room. Once inside, we sit on my bed, pop some popcorn, and just talk for about an hour and a half.

When we are finished catching up, it is about 12:15pm. So, we decide to go get lunch. We get into my car and head to the Newks down the street.

We eat for about an hour and then we begin to decide on what else we are going to do today.

"How long are you here for again?" I ask her.

"Until Monday afternoon," she says. 

I nod and say, "So what else do you want to do today?"

"I don't know. What can we do?"

"Well, in November, the boys are having a concert in NYC and they want me to go perform, so do you think you can help me pick out an outfit?"

Nearly jumping out of her seat, Kim says, "Of course! Let's go now!"

I laugh and we get up and head towards my car. On the way to the mall, we roll down the windows and blare the music.

At the mall, we begin in Forever 21. There really isn't anything there.

Next, we head to the more stores on that end of the mall, but there really ins't anything.

So, we bite the bullet, and head to the more expensive end of the mall.

First stop, Gucci.

In Gucci, I buy a cropped leather jacket and leather ankle boots.

Next stop, Balenciaga.

In Balenciaga, I buy this dark purple ribbed sleeveless top that I plan to crop. I also got this 3D black and white checkered dress for another time.

Next stop, Saint Laurent.

In Saint Laurent, I buy this black high waisted leather skirt. 

Last stop, Chanel.

In Chanel, I buy a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and a necklace.

Throughout the whole process, Kim helped me so much and she picked out most of my items. So, to thank her, when she wasn't looking, I bought her one thing in each store. I plan to give her the items Monday afternoon when she's about to leave.
