A/N: Well time for Y/n to make his first pact with one of the Six, and by popular demand (also the only one requested more than once) Y/n shall be making a pact with Leviathan. So here goes nothing.
______________________________________________Dainslief Hospital
As Iris and Squall were waiting outside of Y/n's hospital room, Cor was talking with a nearby doctor confirming the young boy's current condition. As Squall and Iris were having a casual talk, the young faunus got to know the young tinkerer as well as the little project that Squall had demonstrated during the fight in the alleyway.
As Cor finished up his conversation with the doctor, the Marshal made his way over to the two younger children, Iris gave Cor a concerned expression while Squall simply looked on.
"How is he Cor?"
"Doctors say he'll be fine, just exhausted."
"I'm sensing a but coming up."
"Y/n's body has partially shut down. He's in a localized self induced coma. The doctors reckon he'll wake up in a day or two, a week at most."
Hearing the news about Y/n, Iris tried to force her way past Cor only to have him wrap an arm around her waist and hold her in as gentle of a grip as he could without causing the poor girl any more trauma.
"Let me go Cor! I need to see him!"
"Iris, calm yourself! The last thing you need right now is to let your emotions take over. And that is exactly what's going on right now."
As Iris' resistance started to receed, Squall placed a hand on the fox faunus' shoulder earning her attention.
"Cor is right Iris, the last thing you want to do right now is to become blind by your emotions. I'm as worried about Y/n as you are, but right now, this is a fight he NEEDS to do on his own."
As Cor released his grip around Iris' waist the young faunus struggled to hold back a sniffle, wiping her eyes on her sleeve Iris felt the weight of a hand on her shoulder, looking back the young faunus was met with Cor's sympathetic gaze.
"If it'll make you feel any better Iris, King Regis wants to speak to you regarding Y/n. Would you be able to accompany me to the Throne Room?"
Giving Cor a silent nod, the two bid Squall farewell as the young tinkerer turned his attention towards Y/n's room his own thoughts wondering just what his new acquaintance was going through.
Y/n's Subconscious
As the sun shone brightly down over a lone stretch of coastline, a young H/l, H/c boy stirred awake. Rubbing the sleep from his eyes Y/n groggily stood up and slowly took in his surroundings as seagulls called overhead and the sounds of waves breaking along the shoreline filled his ears, looking in every possible direction Y/n was met with the same surroundings, endless coastline to his left and right and an insanely high cliff face behind him
"What the hell is going on? Where am I?"
As Y/n continued to examine his absurd location, the ocean's tide began to rise and at an alarming rate catching the young boy completely off guard. As the tide rose, so to did Y/n's fear, turning around and breaking into a sprint in a vain attempt to outrun the rising tide, the young boy's panic only increased further as the cliff side that seemed so close mere moments before was suddenly the distance from Vale to Eos. Feeling the water reaching halfway up his calves the young boy kept sprinting for the ever distant cliff face, only to be engulfed under water in mere seconds.
As his body became submerged in water, the young boy's fear reached an all time high, higher than the night he fled from Traxis during the Daemon attack. As light faded and darkness seeped into his vision, the young boy couldn't help but feel as though he was being stalked by the depths. As Y/n spun around to try and locate his stalker, the young boy noticed one thing, he hadn't a need to surface for air.
