When I woke up this morning I felt more tired than usual. I had a cool dream last night but I struggled to remember it. The only thing I could recall was a black dog.
Today at school I got partnered with my friend Elisabeth for a project. Our task is to make an essay on history up until this point. It's the biggest essay I've ever had to do and I'm happy to have a good friend to help me do it. We have two weeks to finish the assignment which should be plenty of time.
I had a lot of homework today, but I'm proud to say I got it done. Hopefully, I sleep better tonight.

I was in a lobby, why? I studied the busy room that continued to fill with people.
"Wait! this place again?" I turned around in surprise.
Outside of me, other people started appearing in the lobby. Every time I blinked someone new seemed to appear from mid-air. Some just walked it off like nothing happened, while others seemed as flabbergasted as me to be in the same room again.
"Welcome back! you did amazing yesterday!" Mark said from behind me.
"Ah! God, don't scare me like that! I forgot all about this place, I'm still here?"
"Oh yeah, that happens. you may be conscious here but it's still a dream. People rarely remember this place after waking up."
"Wow sorry for doubting you yesterday."
"Eh don't worry about it. That's also common." He stopped a moment to check his watch. The bell rung through the lobby.
"What bell is that?"
"Second. Sydney will be joining you on your mission today."
"The more help the better, right?" I have a goofy thumbs up.
"That's the spirit! Talk to me once you're both ready." He straightened his glasses with a smile before someone else pulled him away for questions. It was gonna be nice having a friend to talk to in the lobby. At least then I wouldn't be awkwardly standing alone waiting for the wall to glow.
I wandered around a while. He never told me where she was, so I took my time searching and explored the hub. There was a lobby, a training room, a file room, a shopping area, and weaponry. Now that I think of it, not once had I seen a bathroom or a kitchen. Was I ever hungry?
As I left the shop I heard a familiar bark snap from behind me. I turned around and looked down at the eager dog. He whined and circled around.
"What's up buddy?" I said.
I didn't know his name. He barked again and walked down the hall. I followed him to the lobby and turned right into a room I didn't notice before. Beds sat orderly across the wall. Two unfamiliar people in them. Close to the door was Sydney. She sat on a couch drinking what looked to be tea. The dog jumped up on the couch to greet her and laid its head on her leg.
"Hi, their, ready for today?" I said sitting down beside her.
"Ready as I'll ever be...This place is magical." She said and set her tea down.
"What weapon did you choose?" I asked and pulled out my silver ax.
"The butterfly swords, they sound harmless but they look crazy."
She picked one of the blades off the floor and let me inspect it.
"I only chose it because I thought butterflies were cool." She laughed
