°16. Movie Night °

It was nice to hold Sal's hand. Walking though the halls, sitting at lunch, study hall. The first few weeks was a lot of PDA in that sense. At first he'd try and hide it. He wasn't into it as much. But, he warmed up to it after our study hall teacher (if you could even call her that, since she was never there) said we were a cute couple.

At home though, and behind closed doors, it was more. No, not in that way. But we would cuddle a lot. Watching movies, him playing video games and me reading. But, not while we were both playing video games. He was my boyfriend, but that didn't mean I still couldn't kick his ass in Mario Kart.

He was ALWAYS Mario. He never picked any other character. I was usually Yoshi, but I would switch between Waluigi and Peach.

"C'mon Mario, you're loosing to a green dinosaur." In laughed, nudging his arm with my elbow, causing him to crash into the side of the wall and bounce back before chain reaction into a banana peel.

"Hey!" He cried, "That's cheating!"

"Hey, it's not my fault you have motion steering on." I snickered, crossing the finish line, winning 1st place for the race.

"I also let you win." He said, turning to face me in the bean bag. He put his legs up on my legs, leaning back into the beans which rubbed together making that sound. The sound bean bag owners know and love.

"You let me win.. yeah, totally." I rolled my eyes and squeezed his knees. He had on his famous red jeans with the holes in the knees.  "Dude, you got some boney knees."

"I'm sorry my knees don't gain weight?" He laughed, leaning up to smile at me.

"You're a literal dork." I said, sinking farther into the beans. It wasn't comfortable, but they were fun.

"Yeah, but I'm your dork." Another smile. I couldn't get enough of his smile.

"Well," I smiled, "You're not wrong."

"I'm always right, babe." He rolled off the bean bag and onto the floor, before standing up. "I'm done with Mario. What do you wanna do?"

"Hm," I said, tapping my chin. "Well there's not a lot to do in this town."

"Let's go somewhere."

"My dad's at work." I said in a "duh" tone. I didn't have my own car yet, so I don't know how he expects to get anywhere. We we're currently at his apartment. It was day 4 of Henry and Lisa's honeymoon. They've sent pictures of some places they went, and Sal got to talk to his grandma on the phone yesterday, which definitely made his mood sky rocket.

"Shit, you're right." He frowned. "We could.." he trailed off, "I don't know where I was going with that."

I laughed at him and stood up. I gave him and hug and he hugged back. We sat there for a moment like that. "Wanna get some food?"

"That sounds good." He smiled. He walked over to he kitchen, "Did you have anything in mind?"

"I dunno. Do you wanna make a pizza, or have a full on meal?"

"I mean, I'm always cool with pizza." He said, turning to face me. "But, what ever you want is cool with me."

"Pizza is fine. We can watch a movie too."

"Smart and pretty. I sure got the idea girl." He smiled.

"Cheesy."

"Just like the pizza." He said, pulling the pizza out of the oven. Extra cheese. He set the oven and grabbed the pizza pan. Last time we didn't use a pan, it melted through the bars some how and we had a mini heart attack.
