For me the worst one is my Birthday becuase all the attention is on me when I'd rather be in the background. All celebrations can be hard becuase it's a change and I know not everyone struggles with change but I for one really struggle with it. I also can't stand holidays (time off school) or weekends becuase it's a change. When I was in school I wished I could go to school everyday so there wasn't a change and I didn't fall back into the luxury of being at home then going back to hell. I don't really have any suggestions on how to make it easier apart from with your birthday ignore it and treat it as any other day for example I opened my cards a day after becuase I put pressure on my birthday becuase in my head everything has to be perfect so by opening my cards the next day it's more relaxed becuase I'm spreading it out nothing is pressured if that makes sense. Other celebrations I'm not so sure about because your not necessarily in charge of that, you can't control who does what and when. You could build up to it so write the date down and prepare and control what you can so if there are decorations involved write down on a calander or something a date when you will put them up and and a date when you'll go shopping of you need something for the celebration so you know what's happening and you add it into your routine kind of making it a normal thing. I don't really have any other suggestions becuase it's hard to think of things when every celebration is different and is different for different people but if you try to prepare it won't be such a shock to the system when it comes around.
