10. 𖣘 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𖣘

I ran through the crowd searching for Edmund, a bunch of snow-soldiers ran to me with swords. I took my sword and another battle began, Crystal helped me fighting but it was too hard to fight with a dress, suddenly one of the soldiers pushed me down, I felt pain in my arm, the soldier jumped on the top of me and I tried to protect myself with my sword but he pulled it away from my hands and raised his dagger, it was a centimeter away from my chest when Crystal pushed him away, I quickly took my sword and cut the soldiers head.

Just then I felt something rough under my foot. I recognized it was a piece of Edmund's shirt. I gave it to Crystal as he smelled and ran to the forest next that was to the castle.

I followed him hoping to find Edmund there.

"Lucy, here!!",- shouted Eustace showing Lucy where to hide all the ladies.

They ran to a big room but suddenly they heard a strange sound coming from the roof.

"What's that?!",- Lucy said worriedly.

"No time to think about it, Come on enter this room all of you!",- Eustace ordered.

"Lucy! Where's Edmund? What's going on?",-asked Jennifer.

"Jenny this is so complicated, I can't explain to you right now, just go with the others Edmund is outside now",- Lucy said, pushing her to the room but Jennifer ran out of the room.

"Jenny wai-",- Eustace shouted but stopped when the roof collapsed and the shivers fell down in front of them closing the door of the room.

All except from Lucy Eustace and Jenny were inside the room.

"Eustace! we have to go out and help the others",- Lucy shouted.

"Edmund!",- screamed Jennifer running to the outside door.

"Wait Jenny!",- Eustace shouted, running afterwards and Lucy followed them.

They ran out and turned between the wall and the snow-dragon... It flew to them and they hit the wall. Eustas took his sword and tried to hit him but the dragon dodged and frozen Jenny. The archers started shooting and diverted the dragon.

"Crystal! Come on boy I'm relying on you",- I said running after him.

Suddenly Crystal stopped, I saw a snow-wolf lying lifeless on the ground, I ran to his direction and saw Edmund lying under the wolf.

"Edmund!",-I called, I hardly pushed the wolf off of him.

"M-Mai-",- he tried to speak but it was hard for him.

"Shh, don't tell anything",- I looked at him, he had wounds on his body.

One in the arm where his shirt was torn and another one on his waist, which looked like a scratch. I gently pushed to his waist where the wound was bleeding and tied it with my scarf. I also stopped the bleeding on his arm and that's when I noticed he was looking at me, my movements, my hands, and I got nervous for a moment when I realized I was sitting too close to him... I pulled back quickly and looked at him.

"I-... it's not gonna bleed that much now...",- I mumbled something.

He simply smirked before he said,-"I'm fine...you have good healing skills"

"Sorry?",- I said confused.

"You looked like a fish in water",- he said, smirking again.

I nodded, trying to keep it cool, it was silent for a minute, then I spoke.
