16. 𖣘 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡 𖣘

(Maily's POV)

"Of course! You're not going to tell the truth!",- Ice-Woman said and all the warriors were listening to the story of their life, and I was interested as much as they were, cause Yes...I knew nothing about it.

"Yes, I had Ice-Powers, I could do magic with wind and snow and also some other magic spells",- Venera started telling her story,-"I was able to do everything but my little sister Jadis was always in the center of attention",- at this point she looked at my mom,-"Yes, though I was the eldest daughter and had much more privilege, parents always loved you more! You were the one and only in their eyes, the one who always got what she wanted and who always earned love from everyone by doing nothing special. Although I was still trying to push my feelings inside but the last thing that hurt me the most was that charming Prince named Arthur. I was older I was meant to marry first and become the queen. But you know what!!?",- she shouted at all of us as all the warriors were standing stunned and listening as she continued...

"He came to our family party that day, and he was supposed to fall in love with me. He spent with me 3 hours talking but he didn't mention any kind of sympathy, but after meeting Jadis for 10 minutes he invited her to dance..",- there was a sad tone in her voice which was something new, she was feeling pain,- "He..He fell in love with her",- she said mentioning my mom standing in front of her,- "He made her a wedding proposal the next day and she said 'yes'. They got married and went to their honeymoon while I wasn't even at home! And when they got back I was there to meet them, I saw them walking towards me, mother and father. And my little sister was already pregnant! That made me even angrier".

"That's when you ruined everything...",- Mom said quietly.

"Oh, really? I decided that if he's not going to be mine, then he won't be anyone else's, especially yours sister. That's why I wanted to kill you",- she pointed..and my eyes widened, I shook inside and couldn't believe in it, I was feeling helpless as I looked at my mom.

Then Ice-Woman continued "I used my ice magic to make her freeze but I only hurt her heart when father stopped me with his magic. I had no access to Jadis as mother was covering her and father was in front of them using his powers to protect them both. As the three of them were unable to be touched I looked at the left side where Arthur was standing helpless, a person whom I loved but couldn't have him. I figured I had no other choice to separate them so I used my magic against Arthur, but... I didn't want to kill him, that's why I turned him into a dwarf",- her last words rang in my ears and the whole world around me disappeared...

*(Maily's thoughts)Dwarf? what???* I remembered the dwarf that was always helping my mom and I used to see him by her side all my childhood. And as I came here he was there in our Castle..my...my father...oh my god, what's wrong with my life... it's so unbelievable.. I looked at mom once more, she was mentally tortured by this story that brought her memories back.

"But.. as he was turned into a dwarf I felt weakness in my body, I couldn't control my powers... and I looked back, there was father standing now in front of me and mom next to him, but Jadis was a little far from them. Father was using a magic spell on me and I..",- Venera was talking and breathing heavy when she was cut by mom.

"And you lost your control on your magic!!! You hurt mom and made an Ice-Storm that surrounded everything around us...That's when father locked you, your soul and powers inside my necklace",- I used to remember that necklace on mom's neck. I was playing with it as a child when she hugged me and she never liked it. After some time I never saw her wearing it.

"He hated me!!!",- Ice-Woman exclaimed,- "He used a spell to lock me inside your necklace...so you remember this necklace, don't you?",- Ice-Woman said, mentioning a necklace on her neck and that got my attention. She was looking like a ghost this whole time *so maybe she's still locked in that necklace and that was her soul somehow?*
