"Step aside woman!" A man in a dark cloak hissed.
"Never! Don't touch my childr-" Lily was cut off by a stunner from Voldemort.
The most feared wizard in the magical world approached two cribs. In one, was a bawling lump with messy red hair. Voldemort sneered in disgust at the baby's actions, and walked to the other crib.
It was empty.
"Who are you?" Voldemort looked down at the source of the noise to find a green eyed boy. Green like the Avada Kedavra. The green eyes stared at him without an ounce of fear.
"I'm afraid I don't have time for introductions," Voldemort snarled, pointing his phoenix wand, "Avada Kedavra" However, as the green streak of light hit the young boy, a light blue shield erupted around the boy, causing the killing curse to rebound onto the dark lord himself. The dark lord shrieked before withering away, leaving robes behind. Shrugging nonchalantly, Hadrian climbed back into his crib, allowing sleep to wash over him. The only reminiscence of the incident was a small lightning bolt scar on Hadrian's forehead, and of course, a bleeding v shaped cut on Mason's hand from a piece of chandelier glass that had fell.

Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall approached the Potter Manor cautiously. At the doorway, they found the stunned form of James Potter. After casting a quick counter spell, the three headed upstairs to the boys' rooms. Lily was stunned on the ground, and the Potter twins were sleeping. While James woke his wife, Dumbledore immediately approached the two twins.
"May I show you, Mason, the boy who lived." Dumbledore said, raising Mason into the air. James and Lily took Mason into their arms, beaming proudly.
"With all due respect Albus, how do you know?" McGonagall asked.
"The V shaped cut in his palm is likely the marking of Voldemort, warning Mason, that he will return." Albus said solemnly. McGonagall nodded, congratulating the happy couple.
In all the celebration, however, one small green eyed boy was forgotten.
