"Have you heard?  Apparently, Mason Potter is creating a dueling practice squad and Dumbledore is canceling the Dueling Competition.  This must be something to do with Voldemort's uprising." Hermione said frantically.

"I heard Potter is getting called to Albus's office often.  Potter must be getting inside information on the whereabouts of Voldemort." Hadrian concluded.

"Should we try to get that information too?" Daphne asked.

"I could eavesdrop." Blaise offered.

"I could get one of my home-made plants to torture the information out of him?" Neville added.

"How about legimency?  Then we can just wipe the memories." Hermione said.

Ginny shook her head.

"No, no.  We don't need any of that.  We already have a fundamental advantage." Ginny said.

"Of course you do, you guys are better duelers than all of Hogwarts combined!" Blaise responded, "except maybe... the professors and Dumb-" but after receiving a few annoyed expressions and a cocked eyebrow from Hadrian, Blaise quickly recovered, "nope... you guys are better than everyone!"

Ginny shook her head again and continued:

"Despite Hadrian's little history lesson on the night we revealed our identities, most people, including that thick-headed Dumbledore, still believes Mason is the so called boy who lived and fated to kill Voldemort.  But he isn't.  We all know Hadrian is."

"How does that help?" Hermione asked, sounding embarrassed to even have to ask that question, and frustrated that she couldn't figure out herself.

Blaise chuckled at his girlfriend, and Neville decided to tease her saying, "You know Hermione, not all information is found in books.  Sometimes you can only get information from certain people.  Hadrian is a very good example.  You can only learn about Hadrian and Hadrian related things through Hadrian.  The night of Voldemort's attack happens to be a Hadrian related thing, so Hadrian is the best person to go to for information... you know, because the other witness was busy sleeping."

"What?  So you guys all specifically asked Hadrian what happened on the night of Voldemort, and information related to it?" Hermione asked annoyed and in disbelief.

"Well, not really," Ginny started, "Neville's really close to Hadrian, so I found out through Neville.  Turns out Neville is also a very reliable source on Hadrian."

"Merlin, save me." Hermione muttered at the same time Neville threw an apologetic look at Hadrian.

"Anyways," Hadrian started, ignoring Hermione's mutterings, "What do you all know about Horcruxes?"

"They're pieces of someone's soul, created by incredible acts of cruelty." Hermione recited, relieved to be able to contribute knowledge.

"Yes, and I so happen to have one of them." Hadrian pulled out a potions vial.  Inside the vial was something that looked like a black sphere with small tendrils poking out and surrounding it.

"Is that a horcrux?  I've never seen one before."

"On the contrary, actually, you have." Hadrian responded smartly.

"This here," Hadrian gestured at the vial, "is a horcrux.  I was able to extract it from its... casing, you could say.  And this is our advantage."

"What was the horcrux in before?" Daphne asked curiously.

"Me." Hadrian grinned, and everyone gasped in shock, except Neville of course, and Ginny, but Ginny was still trying to get over the shock from when she found out the previous day.
