Later that night, Ginny and Hermione stumbled in to the Grey Rebels' dorms, still open-mouthed from the new information they learned that night.  Hadrian and Neville were sitting on the couch, the former reading an untitled black book, while the latter was busy skimming the Daily Prophet.  Hadrian seemed genuinely immersed in his reading, but Neville's was scanning the newspaper with an over-exaggerated casualty that told the two girls that the boys had been waiting for them.

"Sorry Hadrian -" Hermione stuttered, giving Hadrian her first words of apology since they met.

At that moment, Daphne and Blaise came rushing in, but immediately slinked quietly against the far wall, aware that they should stay quiet and let the four talk it out.

"We didn't know." Ginny justified.

Hadrian's expression remained indecipherably blank, only nodding his head.

"We want you to rejoin the Grey Rebels," Ginny spoke timidly.  Hadrian's expression didn't change, and Neville almost felt bad for his girlfriend - that she had to have a one sided conversation with a wall while also opening up about her mistakes.  But Neville knew Ginny had it coming for a while.

"It was wrong of me to kick you out of the group you started without giving proper explanations.  I admit you're a pretty great leader and you've done well leading this team.  We're going to add two members soon, and we're going to need your help.  Everyone in this group is physically and magically weaker than they've even been since joining group.  Don't let this get to your head though, Hadrian.  I admit I can be a b*tch and can be unfair and judgmental sometimes - well, most of the time, but you've got to admit you're the most closed off, son of a b*tch ever to walk this earth.  Whatever, but I hope we can work together in harmony this time and bring the Grey Rebels to be better than they've ever been.  Heaven knows things are only going to get worse with Voldemort." Ginny admitted.  Hadrian's blank stare remained.

"BLOODY HELL, HADRIAN!" Ginny shrieked.  Blaise, who had been leaning against the wall, teary-eyed from Ginny's previous emotional speech, didn't realize that Ginny's gracious and humbling seconds of peace would be so short lived.

Ginny breathed in deeply, and spoke again, "We want you to rejoin the Grey Rebels.  Be our leader again."

Hadrian face finally changed from its previously blank expression, and changed to one of pride with a hint of admiration.  Usually, looking at Hadrian, Ginny would fire up at the sight of pride on Hadrian's face, but at that moment, finally truly looking at Hadrian's face and into the windows of his eyes, Ginny realized that he was proud, but not proud of himself.  He was proud of her?  And the admiration.  He admired her?

Hadrian stood up and walked towards Ginny.

"I would be obliged to rejoin the Grey Rebels, but under one circumstance," Hadrian bargained and no one would have expected what he said next.

"I will not reclaim my position as leader.  You were right Ginevra [Ginny scowled at hearing her birth name], from now, the Wizarding community's situation with Voldemort will only get worse and the Grey Rebels will need to be stronger, tighter, and better than ever.  But you can only learn so much from one person.  We need change.  I request, Ginevra, that you become the Grey Rebel's leader," Hadrian said, and everyone's jaws dropped to the floor.

"B-b-but," Ginny stuttered, for the first time in probably her life, "you need to be the one training us, and bargaining in Knockturn, and killing, and-and-and-" she was cut off by Hadrian.

"A leader does not need to do everything.  You can designate us all to our respective tasks, just like we all took over different fields to train Daphne and Blaise.  I will rejoin this team, but Ginny will remain as leader." Hadrian finished, extending out a hand and Ginny shook it, nodding dumbly, awestruck and Hadrian's words.  Everyone else was surprised that Hadrian didn't called her Ginny, not a mocking Ginevra like he usually did.

"Very well.  I will be heading to bed."  With that, Hadrian glided towards the stairs, and Daphne who had been sitting quietly, quickly joined her boyfriend, intertwining their fingers as they spoke in hushed whispers.
