"Can't you do something Hadrian?" Ginny asked pleadingly.

"That's the thing about the unforgivables.  They are the only three spells that don't have anything that can undo it.  You can build an immunity to the imperius and the crucio curse, and you can conjure a shield to deflect the avada kedavra, but once it happens, you can't do anything about it.  Once you're dead.  You're dead.  Once you're under the cruciatus, you're probably too weak to fight back.  And for the imperius, only the castor can release the victim from the hold of the spell.  Unless the castor dies." Hadrian explained.

"Well, who did it?" Blaise asked to the others, looking worriedly at his girlfriend, who was knocked out on the couch.

"I have a hunch." Hadrian drawled.

"Well, tell us!" Ginny shrieked, stressed with worry and frustration and Hadrian's nonchalant attitude.

"Calm down Ginny." Daphne soothed, hoping the spout between Hadrian and Ginny wouldn't escalate too much.

"You're telling me to calm down?  While our best friend is under the imperius curse, and your boyfriend is being secretive about every little detail, and won't tell us bluntly exactly what's happening, you're telling me to stay calm?" Ginny burst.

"I must warn you, Ginny, once I tell you who I think cast it, you must stay calm and not make rash decisions." Hadrian spoke.

"Fine." Ginny huffed.

"Mad Eye Moody.  I suspect he's working for Dumbledore.  Dumbledore wouldn't dare cast it, because he knows we are already suspicious of him.  So that night at the ball, when Mad Eye Moody was testing the Imperius Curse on everyone, he made sure to take note of who fell under it the deepest." Hadrian explained.

"I can't believe it!" Ginny snapped, obviously about to storm out the dorm and give Moody a piece of her mind, but Hadrian had quickly flicked his wrist, creating a barrier at the door, which cackled an intimidating red.  Ginny took the hint, and sighed defeated, turning away from the door.

"Could we imperius her ourselves and overpower moody's imperius then release our imperius so Hermione is normal again?" Blaise asked.

"No.  It would be overwhelming for her mind.  So much to the point it could cause her brain to shut down." Hadrian responded.

"What about put an imperius on moody and make him lift the curse?" Neville suggested.

Hadrian nodded approvingly at Neville's suggestion.  "That could work. but then we would have to make sure we coax him under the spell, because I'm sure moody as some resistance to the imperius.  And after we release him from the imperius, we will have to obliviate him."

"Wait a second, you seem like you gave all of this a lot of thought, and you have an uncanny sense of knowing what will work.  How do I know you didn't cast this imperius yourself?" Ginny challenged, stepping towards Hadrian.

"Now Ginny, Hadrian would never do something like that.  He-" Neville was cut off by ginny.

"I want Hadrian to answer.  Its about time he did something to show he is dedicated to this group.  How do I know you're not behind this?" Ginny asked, looking directly into Hadrian's eyes.

Neville sighed, knowing he couldn't do anything to change Ginny's thoughts.  Blaise sat quietly, biting his lip, for he thought Hadrian was completely innocent, but didn't want to face Ginny's wrath.  Daphne scowled slightly, but didn't say anything, knowing the fight was between Hadrian and Ginny.
