✞The Supernatural Power of God✞

        All our lives we have been taught about a God that is only manifested in the writings of the Bible. Some of us have never had an encounter with our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the problem with religion. Religion doesn't save you, it cannot get you into heaven. But you know who can, and that is Jesus. Just like the Pharisees thought they knew God, many today think they know God, when in reality they have never even met Him. The God that religious people portray to their convenience is not the same Jesus that the Gospels  portray.

        Our God is supernatural and here is a personal testimony about it. My mother was only fifteen years old, five months before she was sixteen when she had me. The pregnancy process was not easy and many times others tried for her to lose me. Giving her plants that would make her abort forcing her to drink them, hitting her stomach when they were passing by and acting as if it was an accident. Even forcing  her to drink pills, anything that will stop me from being born. But none work, and the people that did those things got madder because they couldn't understand why it would work on anyone but her. I was born premature and too small but the hospital denied me the right to be put in a cubicle like every other child.

        I never knew about this until Jesus brought me to Him. One night, in a prayer with all the sisters; this particular sister who has the gift of knowledge came to me, and told me all of this. She told me what The Lord was telling her. Imagine my shock at that moment. I hadn't been informed that all around my mother was harassed with things from others to make her abort me. These were some of the words The Lord used: "Since your mother's womb I protected you, even when the enemy tried to intervene in your life, I was there and saved you. I didn't let anything happen to you. I have great plans for you, a huge blessing." 

        Within that week curiosity ate at me, and I finally had the courage to ask my mom if all that the sister had told me was true. My mom shocked had asked me how I knew that information and she revealed to me through tears that it was true. I would have never imagine but now I could see the hand of God always following me and protecting me. Never letting anything bad happen to me.

        When I was about two years old, I got very sick, I died in my mothers arm. There was a miracle that happened in that moment. My mother cried out to God and ask for Him to let me live. I came back to live in her arms. At that time she didn't know that it wasn't God calling me, but Satan trying to get me to die and lose the future that God had in store for me. This is what I want to tell you, don't let Satan steal what it is yours. He has already stolen so much, don't let him steal more from you!

        When I was seventeen, I almost had a stroke. I was paralyzed, my whole body could not be moved. I could only talk but little but my whole body was completely immobile. This is one of the firsts encounters I had with God where I was aware that it was Him working. Sisters and brothers came to pray for me and that same night I was back to normal. God is good!

        Every single time the enemy tried to attack my life and take me down, but I give all the glory to God because He loved me even when I didn't love Him. He chose me, even when I wouldn't have imagine to be chosen. This is the love of God that He gave Himself for you at the cross. He is real my friend. He wants to set you free from every bondage that this world has on you.
