Chapter 24 - Boah

Noah's POV:

We entered Ben's house. I've been here a million times before. We usually hang out in his basement because his room isn't the biggest thing in the world.

His mom was shocked not expecting to see anyone for another 4 hours.

"Boys what are you doing here" Marie asked

"Well Noah got beat up and I was wondering if you could make sure he's alright and Josh had something to do so I said he could stay here" Ben explained

"Of course I can, come here honey"

She checked me over and said I was fine, I didn't have a concussion and said I should go and get some rest.

We went upstairs and into his room and I looked around it had been about 2 months since I had been up there.

There was now a big bi pride flag hanging from his wall.

"When did that get there?" I asked curiously he had never told me he was bi

"Oh last week, I was going to tell you but I didn't know what you'd say I mean it took me a while to figure it out and I wanted to tell you in a proper way not just blurt it out, kinda like I'm doing now I-"

I cut him off "It's fine, you're my best friend. No matter what I'll always support you, if it makes you feel better I've been waiting for the right time to tell you I'm pan"

"Thank you, and thanks for telling me" he said and pulled me into a hug. "Now you need to rest and sleep" he said gently pushing me onto his bed and laughing.

I lay comfortably on his bed but wasn't satisfied

"Lie with me" I said quietly

"Of course" he said, we had been always been really close so sleeping in the same bed wasn't uncommon

He lay next to me on his back and I turned on my side wrapping my arms around his torso. I cuddled up to him and he wrapped his arm around me as I drifted off to sleep.

When I woke up, Ben was laid on his side and our bodies were intertwined. His face was so cute I just wanted to kiss him. I'd had a crush on him for the last 6 months but I didn't want to ruin our friendship.

I found my phone on the bed and saw it was around half 4, we'd slept for 5 hours. Oops

I had 3 texts from Josh and one from Simon.

Josh: Are you ok now?

Josh: Noah?

Josh: You're not dead are you?

Simon: Ok so I've convinced Josh that you're not dead but when you I assume wake up can you please text him to confirm this as he won't stop mithering

I text them both back

To Simon : Sure and you assumed right we fell asleep

To Josh: I'm alive Ben and I just fell asleep

Their replies came quickly

Simon: Together? 😉

Josh: Together!?

I had a feeling Josh's was a lot more serious than Simon's

I started a group chat between us and added Ben so he could back me up when he woke up.

Noah named the chat: 'I'm not a slag, I promise"

Noah: We both just fell asleep cause I was tired and I guess he was too none of what ur thinking

Simon: You sure?😉

Noah: Yes I'm sure. His mom was home, we wouldn't have wanted her accidentally walking in like I did with you too I began to joke back with him, I was now lying on my back with my head on Ben's chest

Josh's: No one better walk in on you two doing what we were doing because you better not be doing what we were doing

Simon: Aww Josh leave him, I can't blame Ben if he wanted to do that, he's pretty much a mini you and I want to do that with you all the time😉

Noah: Anyway it's not like Ben would ever like me like that, or like I like him so you don't have to worry about that happening

Ben: I wouldn't be so sure about that. Shit I forgot I added him to this. Wait when did he wake up.

I shift my head so I was looking up at him.

"So you like me?" He asked (slight Schmico reference apart from like not love)

I just nodded my head. He moved closer to me

"I like you too" he said and captured my lips in a kiss. It was pretty short but was everything that I could ever ask for.
