Simon's POV:
I've been hanging around Josh at school a lot more but we've kept it non romantic cause I didn't want people to know yet. However this was about to change.
"So I have an idea, why don't during our presentation we make Jared and Alex go first then at the end of ours we announce that we're together" I said, we were sitting together at lunch
"Really, are you sure, you know I'm ok to do it whenever you are, but I want to make sure you're sure because I know how big of a deal it is"He said, he had honestly been an angel about it I couldn't have a more caring boyfriend, it would be impossible.
"I'm sure plus it's not until next Monday so I have plenty of time to change my mind"
"Ok but only if ur sure, I want my boyfriend to be happy" he said smiling at me
"I am" I said secretly holding his hand under the table "I still love hearing you call me that, I don't think I ever won't"
"Oi fag, minter" I heard coming from behind me. I turn around and am greeted with the faces of Alex and Jared
"What do you want?" I ask sighing and slowly removing my hand from Josh's incase they saw
"Just letting you know that we're absolutely going to destroy you in the debate thing in Monday" Jared said beginning to walk back before pausing "oh and by the way we're going first" he said this time fully walking away laughing with Alex
"Idiots, they've literally just given us exactly what they want" I said also beginning to laugh "wait I just realised what they called you I'm going to kill him" I said beginning to stand up
Josh put his hand over mine that was now on the table and calmly said "it's fine babe they're not worth it" and with those words I melted
Josh calling me babe was a close second to how I felt when he called me his boyfriend. I sat back down again and just stared at him he was so fucking beautiful
"I can't believe I got so lucky" I said under my breath but apparently he heard it too
"How so?" He asked hand still laid on top of mine
"I have the best boyfriend in the whole universe"
