Poem #8: Senryu

A senryu is like a haiku with a similar format but in here you poke fun of something that annoys you. Basically your making a poem about a pet peeve.

These are from a packet that we had to do:

Going on Netflix
Just to find out there's still...
...no Rick & Morty

One warm summer night
I awake to rude music...
From the neighbor's house

Father snoring
At midnight, or can it be...
The puppy whining

Babysitter nags
She never goes anyplace...
Without her cellphone

Snow falling at last
Down Deadman's hill I race
Just to hit a tree

And these are the ones we were assigned to do:

Walking in the hall
To see seven or so kids
Just standing there...why?

Wanna pet a dog
I see one and approach it
But it walked right by

Left my door open
And when I left my bedroom
The dog ate my food
