After going through a little classwork activity that involved listening to different songs that involve color, we got to do this color poem to do identify which colors means to us
Color!
There is color all around the world
That can easily be seen by this kind of girl
Color theory is important, that is a fact
But the colors symbolize something more than an act
Red is known as the color of rage
It could also mean blood at this day of age
Some say its love but I disagree
For love is known to be pink to me
Yellow is bright and so represents joy
It also means light for us to enjoy
It shines like the sun, gives off a real shine
Sometimes it's viewed as electricity but that is also fine
To be green with envy, where did that come from?
Green is a gross color to me and then some
It's the color of grass and the color of trash
I don't like the color, am I being too rash
The color blue has two different meanings
Whether it's calming or filled with depressed feelings
Make it dark and it makes me sad
Make it light and I'll feel calm and not that bad
Purple to me stands for fear
It also means royalty and that's sincere
I don't know why I see the color so scared
Its my honest opinion, so all is fair
Black is the color of death and hate
The one thing we all agree and relate
While dark colors are all things negative
To me bright colors are all things positive
The greys and browns are boring to me
But I use them a lot as you can all see
Color to an artist is super important
For it can make something or someone pop out in an instant
